My Top 50 - 07/16/2017

July 16, 2017 | 50 songs

"Wild Thoughts" and "Feels" swap places again, "New Rules" stays blocked at #3.

DJ Khaled, Bryson Tiller and Rihanna return to #1 with "Wild Thoughts". This is the song's second week at #1, retaking the top spot after "Feels" stole it for two consecutive weeks. "Wild Thoughts" had a slight increase in points this week, while the Calvin Harris, Pharrell, Katy Perry and Big Sean collaboration dropped.

However, while she's been blocked for a month at #3, Dua Lipa is looking to crash the top two as soon as next week. The track closed most of the gap in points between #3 and #2 and could challenge the top spot next week, specially thanks to the release of the song's excellent music video.

Lorde earns another top 5 hit with "Perfect Places", which is up two to #4. Halsey and Lauren Jauregui follow with "Strangers" at #5, steady. Imagine Dragons drops two to #6 with "Whatever It Takes", after reaching a new #4 peak last week.

French Montana and Swae Lee are unmoved at #7 with "Unforgettable". Same story for DJ Khaled and friends at #8 with "I'm The One". That said, "Unforgettable" posted an increase in points while "I'm The One" decreased this week.

"Attention" returns Charlie Puth to the top 10 with a fourteen spots jump to #9, easily the song's highest rank to date. Former #1 "Hard Times" closes the top 10 this week.

Just below, Macklemore and Skylar Grey earn Greatest Gainer honors with a 30 spot jump to #11 with "Glorious". The song is Macklemore's first single without producer Ryan Lewis. Liam Payne also jumps 24 spots to #16 with "Strip that Down", while Kesha's comeback single "Praying" is no slouch with a 28-spot jump to #17 after last week's debut.

DJ Khaled earns a third top 20 hit this week as "Don't Quit" with Calvin Harris enters at #18. Harris has three more songs in the chart this week: "Skrt on Me" with Nicki Minaj is up to #25, while #5-hit "Slide" is down to #37 on it's 20th week. "Heatstroke" is down to #46 this week.

"Fetish", Selena Gomez's follow-up to #6 hit "Bad Liar", featuring Gucci Mane debuts at #40 and is looking to crash top 20 next week. Her collaboration with Kygo, "It Ain't Me", drops from the chart after 21 weeks, two of them at #1.
