My Top 50 - 08/12/2018

August 12, 2018 | 50 songs

"Solo" returns to the top spot while Drake and Post Malone reach new peaks.

"Solo" by Clean Bandit and Demi Lovato returns to #1 for a second non-consecutive week. The track dethrones "One Kiss" by Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa again, ending that song's 15-week reign. That smash hit falls 1-4 this week, it's lowest ranking after 19 weeks on the chart.

At #2, Drake earns a new peak for "In My Feelings". Should it reach #1, "Feelings" would be Drake's first chart-topper since "One Dance" back in 2016. Close behind, "Girls like You" is steady at #3. The Maroon 5 collaboration with Cardi B has gone as high as #2.

At #5, Post Malone earns his second top 5 hit with "Better Now". It's his first entry as a lead into the region.

Cardi B, Bad Bunny and J Balvin's #1 hit "I Like It" slides one spot to #6 on it's 18th week. Another Latin-infused track, "Clandestino" by Shakira and Maluma jumps six spots to #7. It's the pair's second top 10 entry, following "Chantaje", which peaked at #2.

Troye Sivan and Ariana Grande drop one to #8 with "Dance to This", but Ariana adds another top 10 to her tally with "God is a Woman", which jumps nine spots to #10. Sandwiched between the two Ariana Grande hits is former #1 hit "Delicate" by Taylor Swift at #9.

Cheat Codes jumps to #20 with "Only You". It's their frist top 20 hit, after peaking at #26 with "No Promises" featuring Demi Lovato. For their collaborators, Little Mix, it follows "Touch", "No More Sad Songs" and their CNCO collab "Reggaetón Lento".

Imagine Dragons barely beats "Only You" with "Natural" at #19, while Jennifer Lopez and Demi Lovato look likely to reach top 20 soon with "El Anillo" and "Sober"

The Chainsmokers get Greatest Gainer this week with "Side Effects" featuring Emily Warren. The track is a return to form after their Sick Boy singles failed to enter.
