My Top 50 - 08/19/2018

August 19, 2018 | 50 songs

Drake crowns the chart with "In My Feelings", Tegan and Sara reach #9.

"In My Feelings" moves up one spot to #1, becoming Drake's first #1 hit since 2016's "One Dance" featuring Kyla and Wizkid debuted there. It's the first chart-topper from his Scorpion album, following #5 hit "God's Plan" (which drops this week after 23 appearances) and #9 peaking "Nice for What" (steady at #21 this week).

After two non-consecutive weeks at #1, "Solo" retreats to #2 for Clean Bandit and Demi Lovato. Maroon 5 and Cardi B remain steady at #3 with "Girls Like You", which has gone as high as #2 so far.

Post Malone follows at #4 with "Better Now", a new peak for the single. Record breaking "One Kiss" moves down to #5 on it's 20th week charting for Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa.

"God is woman" moves up four spots to a new #6 peak. The sweetener album should impact the chart a bit more next week, but "no tears left to cry" drops four this week to #19, while album track "breathin" starts at #45. Grande also appears on this week's #10, "Dance to This" from Troye Sivan's Bloom.

Shakira and Maluma are steady at #7 with "Clandestino", while "I Like It" drops down to #8. The Cardi B, Bad Bunny and J Balvin collab topped the chart for a week.

Tegan and Sara reach #9 with "Where Does The Good Go". It's their first chart appearance.

Below top 10, The Chainsmokers and Emily Warren appears headed to top 10 with "Side Effects" after earning Greatest Gainer honors for the second consecutive week, moving up to #14 this time. 5 Seconds of Summer earns their first chart entry with "Youngblood" at #33, the week's highest debut.

Also of note, with "She Loves Control" and "Never be the Same" dropping after 30 and 36 weeks, this is the first time Camila Cabello doesn't appear on the chart since well over a year. Her next singles are a featured appearance on Bazzi's "Beautiful" and a remix of "Real Friends" (the original has already charted and made top 15).
