My Top 50 - 09/02/2018

September 2, 2018 | 50 songs

Second week at #1 for "God is a woman"; The Chainsmokers return to the top 5.

Ariana Grande's "God is a woman" mantains the top spot for a second consecutive week. The track narrowly beats Maroon 5's "Girls Like You", featuring Cardi B, which returns to the #2 position, it's current peak. Grande's "no tears left to cry" is steady at #12, while "breathing" moves up 20-13 on it's third week. Cardi B's "Ring" featuring Kehlani joins top 40 by moving 42-39 this week.

Steady at #3, Post Malone's "Better Now" mantains a healthy lead over former #1 "Solo" which also remains in place at #4. Just below, The Chainsmoker's earn their first top 5 hit since "Something Just Like This" with Coldplay reached #2 last year. The track, featuring singer Emily Warren, moves up 9-5 this week.

Just outside top 5, Maluma and Shakira remain at their #6 peak with "Clandestino". Another pair of stars follows with a steady placement, as Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa's "One Kiss", the song with the longest run at #1 on the chart, mantains it's #7 spot. Harris' new single with Sam Smith, "Promises" moves up 47-38 this week.

Drake plummets down with his former #1 "In My Feelings". The track reached the top spot just two weeks ago, but it slides six spots this week to #8. Tegan and Sara drop a single spot to #9 with "Where does the Good Go" at #9, while Selena Gomez's #4 hit "Back to You" returns to the top 10 this week, it's 17th week on the chart, showing impressive staying power.

Cheat Codes and Little Mix reach a new peak at #14 with "Only You", but it's Florence + The Machine that earns Greatest Gainer honors this week with their single "Hunger", which moves up 36-21 on it's fourth week. Demi Lovato's "Sober" at #19 and 5 Seconds of Summer's "Youngblood" at #20 are new top 20 entries.
