Taylor Swift moves to the top spot, Rita Ora gets first top 5 hit.
After debuting at #3 last week with a single day worth of points, Taylor Swift gets another #1 hit with "Look What You Made Me Do", from her upcoming sixth studio album, Reputation. The track also gets the biggest debut of the year in terms of chart points.
"New Rules" by Dua Lipa vacates the top spot after six weeks. Likewise, after reaching a new #2 high-point last week, Charlie Puth's "Attention" drops to #3.
"Feels" by Clavin Harris, Pharrell, Katy Perry and Big Sean recovers one spot at #4. It's followed by Rita Ora who gets Greatest Gainer honors for a second week in a row with "Your Song". At #5, it's Rita's first top 5 hit, although total points for her Iggy Azalea collaboration "Black Widow" suggest that track would have charted high at the time.
Portugal. The Man's "Feel It Still" moves up to #6 on it's fourth week. It blocks "Strip that Down" from reaching a new peak, as it returns to the #7 spot for the fourth non-consecutive week.
Two tracks find themselves dropping after multiple weeks at top 5: "Unforgettable" drops two to #8, after reaching #3, while two-week-#1 "Wild Thoughts" drops five to #9. This week's highest debut closes the top 10, as Kesha's "Lean to Let Go" starts at #10.
Below top 10, Little Mix's new version of "Reggaetón Lento" by CNCO moves to #14, but another all-female group debuts right below it, as "He Like That" starts at #15. It's already the highest charting song from their latest album, with lead single "Down" stalling outside the top 20.
Ed Sheeran has been charting for 35 consecutive weeks as of this chart thanks to "Shape of You", "Castle on the Hill", "The Man", "Perfect" and "Galway Girl", but with "Galway" and "The Man" out, and "Castle" and "Perfect" dropping this week, he barely survives thanks to "Shape" re-entering at #47.
