My Top 50 - 09/16/2017

September 17, 2017 | 50 songs

Third week at #1 for Taylor Swift, Fifth Hamony gets first top 10 hit since "Work From Home".

"Look What You Made Me Do" leads for a third week. Swift's reputation album is still weeks away but it's on the verge of earning a second top ten hit already: "...Ready For It?" jumps to #11 on it's second week.

Dua Lipa holds at #2 after six weeks at #1, the longest run at the top of the year. The singer's "Be The One" also holds at #28 on it's 34th week, second only to "Shape of You" in terms of weeks spent on the chart this year ("Shape" re-entered recently and is at #47 this week, but should fall again before "Be The One").

Speaking of Ed Sheeran, he co-wrote this week's #3, "Your Song". It's a new peak for the Rita Ora track.

Fifth Harmony collects their third top 5 entry with "He Like That". Should it follow the path of their previous two, "Worth It" and "Work From Home", it would end up reaching #1 eventually. It's a welcome return to form, following a dissapointing run for their lead single "Down", which missed top 20.

Portugal. The Man keeps "Feel It Still" at #5, it's peak. Former #2-hit "Attention" drops to #6 on it's 18th week.

Maroon 5 has released three singles from their upcoming untitled album this year, yet "What Lovers Do" becomes the highest charting one on it's second week charting, as it reaches #7, outpeaking "Cold" (featuring Future, #10).

Liam Payne and Kesha drop two spots each with "Strip that Down" and "Learn to Let Go", at #8 and #9. Top 10 is closed this week by "Feels", Calvin Harris' two-week chart leader.

Aside from "...Ready For It?", two other tracks seem on the verge of reaching top 10 soon: "Thunder" by Imagine Dragons moves up to #12, while the "Reggaetón Lento" remix by CNCO and Little Mix recovers to #13. Halsey's "Bad at Love" seems like a solid bet, as it moves up to #15. Also keep and eye on this week's Greatest Gainer, Justin Bieber and Bloodpop's "Friends", which jumps to #17. It barely gets honors with an 18 spot jump, because P!nk's "What About Us" also had a massive 16 spots jump to #21.

Thanks in part to "Your Song" and it's success, Rita Ora earns a second entry this week, as the featured singer on Avicii's "Lonely Together", this week's top debut at #29. Last but not least, Kelly Clarkson's "Love So Soft" jumps an impressive 13 spots to #30.
