Silk City and Dua Lipa on top again, Shawn Mendes returns to the top 10.
"Electricity" returns to #1 after a week off. The Silk City and Dua Lipa collaboration spends a fourth week at #1, following last week's unexpected crowning of "breathin" by Ariana Grande. That Sweetener single drops to #2 on it's eighth week.
It's not all bad news for Grande though: "God is a Woman" drops one spot to #4 after two weeks on top, but album track "everytime" jumps six spots to #7 on it's fourth week.
Between both Ariana Grande chartoppers is "Happier". The Marshmello and Bastille collaboration manages to match "FRIENDS" as the highest Marshmello peak to date by reaching #3. "FRIENDS" singer Anne-Marie also celebrates a milestone this week, as her collab with David Guetta, "Don't Leave Me Alone" earns Greatest Gainer honors by jumping 22 spots to #12, easily a new peak for the track.
5 Seconds of Summer caps off the top 5 with "Youngblood", up one spot. It switches spots with Maroon 5 and Cardi B's "Girls Like You", which reached #2 a few weeks ago. Calvin Harris' "Promises" with Sam Smith drops one to #8, and has gone as high as #6 so far.
Two "new", but not really "new", tracks enter top 10: Shawn Mendes' #2 hit "Lost in Japan" jumps seventeen spots to #9, on the strength of a new remix featuring Zedd. Dua Lipa also adds another top ten hit with "Want To", a 2016 leftover track from the recording sessions of her self-titled debut album that was released recently to promote the "Complete Edition" of said album dropping soon.
Rita Ora jumps to #19 with "Let You Love Me". The track is following the steps of "Your Song", "Lonely Together" and "Anywhere" into the top 10, which is a nice recovery after her all-star collab "Girls" failed to ignite much interest.
Jonas Blue, benny blanco and LSD make key moves in the top 30, while Halsey's new single "Without Me" is this week's sole debut at #37. Four tracks from her last album hopeless fountain kingdom reached top 10, led by "Bad at Love" which reached #2; "Him & I" with G-Eazy also cracked top 5, which is just a long way to say that this one might be moving up quickly in the coming weeks.
