My Top 50 - 10/29/2017

October 29, 2017 | 50 songs

"Havana" gets second week at #1, Rita Ora, Avicii and P!nk get new peaks.

Camila Cabello and Young Thug top the chart for a second week in a row with "Havana", which benefits from it's music video premiere. It manages to hold the top spot with a slight increase in points.

The rest of the top three is made up of the same songs as last week, with "New Rules" and "Thunder" holding strong at #2 and #3. Both acts have multiple chart entries this week, with their second highest songs being "Begging" at #26 for Dua Lipa, barely outranking 40-week-old "Be The One" and "Whatever it Takes" at #18 for Imagine Dragons.

Avicii and Rita Ora earn a new peak with "Lonely Together" which jumps 8-4; Rita's solo #1 hit "Your Song" slides to #7.

Fifth Harmony drops one to #5 with former chart-topper "He Like That". Maroon 5 and SZA follo at #6, up three spots and just shy of their #5 peak.

Taylor Swift drops three to #8 with "Look What You Made Me Do". Second reputation single "...Ready for It?" recovers three spots at #17 thanks to it's music video premiere, and might get a new peak next week (so far, it's gone as high as #8).

The "Homemade Dynamite" remix drops two to #9, while Ofenbach's "Be Mine" holds at #10 this week.

P!nk gets very close to a top 10 hit with "What About Us", which jumps to #11. It manages to make "How Long" drop one spot despite an increase in points for the Charlie Puth track. Demi Lovato's "Sorry Not Sorry" also jumps into the top 20 for the first time.

This week, the top debut goes to #24, Calvin Harris' "Faking It", newly announced as the next single from Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1. It's Kehlani's first chart entry, but the second for Lil Yachty, following "After the Afterparty", which took him and Charli XCX to #12.

Rita Ora debuts at #25 with "Anywhere", the follow-up to "Your Song", while Liam Payne and Selena Gomez also enter with their next singles "Bedroom Floor" at #45 for him, while she gets a #50 entry with the Marshmello assisted "Wolves".
