My Top 50 - 12/17/2017

December 17, 2017 | 50 songs

"Perfect" gives Ed Sheeran his third #1 hit, Camila Cabello earns Greatest Gainer.

Ed Sheeran moves ahead of Camila Cabello to earn his third #1 hit, all from his latest studio album, ÷, as "Perfect" joins "Castle on the Hill" and "Shape of You". In consequence, Camila Cabello and Young Thug vacate the top spot after eight weeks at #1 with "Havana", but it's not bad news for Cabello, as her next single "Never be the Same" earns Greatest Gainer by jumping from #50 to #16.

Dua Lipa recovers two spots as "New Rules" rebounds to #3. Halsey stays steady just below it with "Bad at Love", while another Ed Sheeran track, this time his feature on Taylor Swift "End Game", which also features Future, closes the top 5 this week, moving up two spots.

Demi Lovato moves down with "Sorry Not Sorry", at #6 this week, but next single "Tell Me You Love Me" reaches a new #8 high. Sandwiched between those two is Selena Gomez and Marshmello's "Wolves", also earning a new peak of #7.

Ofenbach's "Be Mine" returns to the top 10 and reaches a new peak of #9, on it's 12th week. Just below, Calvin Harris, Kehlani and Lil Yachty slip to #10 with "Faking It".

Aside from "Never Be The Same", other key moves include "IDGAF" by Dua Lipa reaching #17, while Post Malone's "rockstar" moves to #19 and P!nk crashes the top 20 with "Beautiful Trauma". Halsey and G-Eazy also jump 10 spots to #26 with "Him & I", which is looking like one of the strongest contenders to smash early 2018.
