Crownnote stands in solidarity with the campaign #TheShowMustBePaused, during which the music industry is taking a pause following the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and others in the latest events in a long-ongoing series of systemic racism and police brutality. While Crownnote is not a company and makes no money on its own, we encourage you to make individual donations, if you are financially able, toward causes that support Black voices, in the music industry and beyond. We also ask you to reflect on the fact that many of the artists, songwriters, producers, label executives, and industry employees that bring you the music you chart here each week have Black roots, as do genres like country, house, rock, jazz, R&B, and hip-hop that grace our charts each week. Through our Twitter account, we will cease all promotional activity of our own site this week, choosing instead to amplify Black voices and organizations that share in the pursuit of support, empowerment, and equality; and we ask that you will do the same. Thank you.

Adrian C's Top 45 - 5/17/20

The Killers spend yet another week at #1 with "Caution", giving it a current total of 5 weeks at the top! Coldplay's "Champion Of The World" once again holds at #2 as it continues to lose its chance of reaching #1. "Roses" by Adam Lambert and Nile Rodgers holds solid at #3. Of Monsters and Men's "Wild Roses" rises back up one to #4 and Tame Impala close out the Top 5 with "Lost In Yesterday" as it drops one to #5.

Only one song enters the Top 10 this week and it's Angels & Airwaves with their latest single, "All That's Left Is Love", meaning it has reached the Top 10 faster than their other charting song ("Kiss & Tell") at only four weeks (10 weeks less than "Kiss & Tell"). No new songs enter the Top 20 this week, but we have five songs making their debuts, one of which being from an artist who has another song charting at the moment.
