Crystal Top 40 (Week 49/2019)

NOTE: "Lucid Dreams" and "Lean Wit Me" at #7 and #10 is not a new entry, rather a re-entry - this is due to both songs entering last year, in a timeframe for which charts are not archived on CrownNote.

Hey akyovbashiev!
I have a lot of respect for the Juice WRLD tribute, even though like I said in the group chat, I don't like his music that much sadly.
The debut for Heartless is amazing, even though I prefer "Blinding Lights".
Great chart as always! I've posted my chart recently, even sent a link to the group chat, Check it out if you have the time! Talk to you later!

Hey Sergej! It's okay that you don't like Juice WRLD's music, it's still nice that you respect the tribute to him. Apart from that, 'Heartless' has been growing on me immensely, and, honestly, I can see the same happening for 'Blinding Lights' as well with a bit of time! Thanks a lot for your comment - I'll be checking your chart right away!

Hey Akyovbashiev! It's really cool to see 'Don't Rush' making a big climb to #1 last week and being able to stay there this week! I actually liked the song more than I'd expected, even if it may not have been anything incredible for me, so it's good to see it at the top. Of course, I absolutely love that 'Own It' is able to climb a place to #2, and I'd love even more to see it climb to #1! How much chance do you think it has of making it in the coming weeks? Juice WRLD getting so many debuts and re-entries is really good to see, and is a very fitting tribute. I may not have been the biggest fan of his music, but I do still really like the re-entries for 'Lucid Dreams' at #7 and 'Hate Me' at #30. It's also really cool to see 'Paper Cuts' debut last week, and climb a little bit this week, and some goes for 'Lauren', which is stable at #24! The debut for 'Heartless' and climbs for'Both' and 'Finders Keepers' are good to see as well. Great chart again! :D

Hey Gameskiller! I'm enjoying 'Don't Rush' a bit more than I expected to, honestly, and it might spent another week or two at the top, but will definitely face serious competition from Stormzy next week - 'Own It' hasn't worn off on me as I feared, and I'm still quite liking it, plus with his album out and a seriously high entry expected for 'Audacity' next week, it might just make it! It's definitely here to stick around for a while regardless. It's great that you're enjoying some of the Juice WRLD entries this week - 'Lucid Dreams' is probably my favorite track of his, even if I may have overplayed it a bit for myself late last year/early this year, while 'Hate Me' I got bored of rather quickly, sadly, but I still like the song and had to include it. 'Paper Cuts' is finally properly growing on me, and so is 'Lauren', so expect them to re-peak as early as next week! The Weeknd's new songs are growing on me a lot, and 'Blinding Lights' might just make it as well at some point, but for now 'Heartless' is pretty good. Finally, the climbs for 'Both' and 'Finders Keepers' are mainly due to me compiling my end-of-year chart currently - those two will be sitting pretty high, and apparently, 'Both' is my most-played song of the year! Thanks a lot for your comment! :D

Hey akyovbashiev! Still not a fan of Don't Rush going to #1, but I absolutely love the Juice WRLD tributes you're giving him! As for the new entries, I like Heartless, but I absolutely hate Thumb entering at #13! Ah well, at least those climbs for Paper Cuts, Finders Keepers and Both are awesome. Great chart as always! ;)

Hey coolocelot! 'Don't Rush' grew on me a bit more than I expected, which is the reason why it stuck around at the top this week, but it should be getting dethroned next week, actually. I'm glad you're liking the new entry for 'Heartless', and, yeah, I kind of assumed you would hate the entry for 'Thumb', haha! 'Paper Cuts' is finally growing on me, and is expected to make even bigger climbs in the coming weeks; and 'Finders Keepers' and 'Both' are climbing because of me compiling my end-of-year chart - which should be up later today, so check it out if you have the time. Thanks a lot for your comment! :)
