Ben's Weekly Top 15

In a record breaking week, the entire top 12 are new entries. Due to the massive amount of new releases last Friday (and me discovering my new favourite singer, Dua Lipa), my normal listening count tripled in comparison to normal weeks, shooting 12 new songs onto the chart and knocking off almost everything from last week. In the top 5, "Quit You" featuring Tinashe debuts at #1 with 27 plays, followed by Dua Lipa's "Be The One" at #2 with 23 plays. Close behind are Zara Larsson's new single "So Good", "Scared To Be Lonely", and yet another Dua song: "Last Dance".

In the latter half of the top 10, three songs from Aquilo's new album debut alongside 2 more Dua Lipa songs from her forthcoming album. Outside of the top 10, "Hotter Than Hell" and "New Love" debut (yes, every single song from her upcoming album except Room For 2 has debuted!). Occupying the last three positions, "I Got You", "Advice", and previous #1 "I Miss You" desparately hang on to the chart. This week marks the most debuts in a single week with 12, and the most debuts from a single artist, with 7 Dua Lipa entries.

Wow, 7 debuts from one artist! I'm pretty sure I've never had more than like 5 or 6 songs from a single artist at one time, let alone debuting the same day. :P As for Dua Lipa, I've seen her name around a fair amount. I'll have to check out some of her stuff at some point.

haha, i discovered her new album recently and i just became addicted. you should definitely check out some of her stuff :)
