Calum PK7's Official Top 40!!

These are basically my 40 favourite songs! Updated weekly. The rule is that each song has to have been in either the Official UK Top 40 or the Vodafone Big Top 40. Enjoy!

Song of the Summer chart: http://www.crownnote.com/leaderboard/Calum%20PK7/range/20170601--20170831

This week is largely affected by the One Love Manchester concert, which happened the Sunday prior to when this chart was from (showing how far I am behind). There are a number of new entries and climbers as a result of this.

No Promises gets its 7th week at #1 this week, but the main news near the top of this chart is the debut of my favourite artist Camila Cabello’s debut track Crying In The Club. It debuts at #3 this week, becoming the highest debut of 2017 since Camila’s own track Bad Things debuted at #1 way back in January.

At #10 is Hailee Steinfeld’s Most Girls, which becomes her second top 10 appearance after Starving hit #1 in 2016. Liam Payne climbs to #12 and Katy Perry & Nicki Minaj to #14, and 5 After Midnight’s debut song Up In Here enters at #18.

The highest OLM representation is obviously the song re-released for the event, Ariana Grande’s One Last Time. It climbs 10 places to #19, getting back into the top 20 after two years away. Then the rest of the top 40 is filled with songs performed at the concert. At #23 Niall Horan climbs 11 with Slow Hands (this would’ve climbed anyway but was given an extra boost), then Ariana re-enters with Break Free at #25. This originally peaked at #16 in 2014. I really enjoyed The Black Eyed Peas’ performance with Ariana filling in for Fergie at the concert, so Where Is The Love? Debuts at #30 this week. And finally, Liam Gallagher debuts at #38 with Wall Of Glass. I’m not usually a fan of rock music but I think this song is pretty decent. And the fact that Liam performed it at the charity concert gave it that boost to make it into my top 40.

That’s it for this week- a big week but next week will be just as big with lots of new entries again!

These are some breakers that will enter high if they reach the chart:

Are You Sure?- Kris Kross Amstrdam & Conor Maynard ft. Ty Dolla $ign, Know No Better- Major Lazer ft. Travis Scott, Camila Cabello & Quavo, Some Kind Of Drug- G-Eazy ft. Marc E. Bassy, 2U- David Guetta ft. Justin Bieber, Call Me- NEIKED ft. Mimi, I Have Questions- Camila Cabello, Love Incredible- Cashmere Cat ft. Camila Cabello and Hey Ma- Pitbull & J Balvin ft. Camila Cabello (Spanish version).

Hey mate, I got my latest chart up now if you're interested! :)
Spoiler: There's a new #1 that I know you'll like.

Hey Calum, great chart once again! Great to see 'No Promises' on #1 once again! Seven weeks now is it? Well I'm glad it is! :) Anyways great to see Camila finally debut! Will it hit #1 like it did for me? Moving on great to see rises from : 'Swish Swish', 'One Last Time' and 'Slow Hands'! 'Slow Hands' actually had an impact on my chart after OLM as well, glad to see it on your chart as well! Well now rating your new entries : 1.) Crying in the Club (10/10), 2.) Most Girls (8/10), 3.) Up In Here (6-7/10), 4.) Break Free (10/10), 5.) Where Is The Love? (8/10), 6.) Wall Of Glass (1-2/10). Well an amazing chart once again Calum! Be sure to check my new chart today! Hope you have a great week and I'll see you soon!

Hey again Tom! yeah that's 7 weeks at #1 for No Promises! amazingly, its halfway through the year and two songs have been #1 every week except the very first! :D I'm glad you like most of my new entries too! Get ready for my next chart today- there will be lots of debuts spread all over the chart! i will look at your chart now! :)

Hey Calum! Greaat chart. Let's take it slowly. I've had a look at your 2017 leaderboard too - 'Bad Things' is in no man's land, as it is far ahead from anyone else. 'Shed A Light' and 'So Good' are battling it off for #2 place. Only 2000 points separate them. Of course, I don't know how do you do the year-end chart. You might not focus it around Crownnote's leaderboard :) Now, regarding the actual chart! I love your #1 'No Promises' and it's awesome that it leads for 7 weeks already. 'Bad Things' was #1 for 15 weeks, right? How many could 'No Promises' get? Around ten? I also love your #2 song, 'Mama'. It has debuted on my latest chart too! It's pretty cool to see new Camila song debuting too. I have heard it but I forgot what it's like haha. 'Bad Things' and 'Shed A Light' undestroyable! Haha!!! From the other songs, I love 'Symphony', 'I'm The One'...Great to see 'It Ain't Me' too!! It's one of my favorite 2017 songs! :) I'm surprised that you have Despacito remix, most of the guys have the original and quite high too!! On my next chart, I'll have both 'Despacitos':D It's pretty cool to see 'There's Nothing Holding Me Back', 'Stay', 'Starving', 'I Would Like', 'Attention' and plenty of more too! Maybe I should just say the whole chart instead hahahaha!! Definitely a great chart. Don't bother checking my latest chart if you haven't since I'll be posting a new one tomorrow!! Hope you had a great weekend Calum and I'll see you, buddy!!

Hey RandomGuy, I'm really glad you like my chart! ;) yeah, Bad Things is pretty much 99% nailed on for #1 song of the year, unless it takes a monumental fall now which it definitely wont. i reckon it will spend the entirety of 2017 on the chart and into 2018 too! :D i reckon So Good will snatch #2 though, because it is slowly catching Shed A Light each week. and i think No Promises could get #4, after Shed A Light. yeah, i have my own way of working it out. i have a points system with 40 points for #1 down to 1 point for #40. i think that makes it fairer as it's a more even system. I can only have the Despacito remix bcos that's the only one which has charted... but i prefer it to the original too tbh. :) i will put up another chart this morning, and check out your chart too! hope you've had a good week! :D

Oh, so YOU are the big fan of No Promises! I am surprised that it is still rising in pop radio in the US! I have no idea what is going to happen to that song to be honest. And judging by a couple other chart entries, I can assume that you are a fan of Cheat Codes. Thanks to No Promises, I might get into them. Is Demi's new song expected to enter your chart some time?

Other songs I enjoy are Bad Things, Starving, So Good, All In My Head, Good Life, Bad Liar, Stay, Holdin' Me Back, Slow Hands, and more.

Hey Mr McCloud! yeah, I'm a big fan of Cheat Codes! they still have an 100% record of reaching top 10, and have had 2 #1s (Sex and No Promises) and a #2 (Let Me Hold You) aswell as Pretty Girl #8. Yeah, Demi's song will definitely reach my chart, around the 10-15 area, but I'm a few weeks behind as you can see as I'm at the time of One Love Manchester. i will try and put up charts more frequently to catch up though! that starts today, where i will put up another chart soon! ill message the group thing when i have! :)
