Faves of the Week: Jan 19, 2024

This week, Marta Sango earns her first #1 song with Las Cosas Que Aún Me Quedan Por Vivir. Months after being released, the song debuts right at the top. It's only the first of nine new entries. The whole top 5 consists of new entries. Sango blocks Bota Niña, the collaboration between Bad Gyal and Anitta. However, this is already Anitta's highest peak. LSDXOXO debuts for the first time with Freak No. 2 right at #3. It also marks Six Sex's highest peak, and her first time in the top 10.

Emilia and Nathy Peluso debut JET_Set.mp3 at #4, just above Kali Uchis and Peso Pluma's Igual Que un Ángel. It's Peso Pluma's first entry. Uchis also debuts ¿Cómo Así? at #12. Another debuting artist is OROVEGA, who lands NEGOCIOS at #7. Finally, Ariana Grande debuts yes, and? at #11 and Windows 96 charts with Nome da Música at #15.

Many songs with a long chart run fall off this week.

• PinkPantheress' Mosquito was her breakthrough and biggest hit yet, with an outstanding number of fourteen weeks. It spent two weeks at #1. It has ended up at #5 on the 2023 Leaderboard and at #26 on the overall Leaderboard. PinkPantheress also loses all the other three entries that she had on the chart, which spent between eight and nine weeks on the chart. It's the first time that an artist leaves the chart completely after losing so many entries.
• Troye Sivan's Silly also reached #1 and is his second biggest hit of all time, only behind Rush. It sits at #12 on the 2023 Leaderboard. Sivan isn't present on the chart for the first time since June 2023.
• Oral became Björk's first #1. It spend eight weeks on the chart.
• Emilia's Exclusive.mp3 reached #2 on its first week. It leaves the chart after ten weeks.
• Tate McRae's greedy was kind of a grower, enough to give the artist her first top 10 hit.
