My Favourite Songs, Albums and Artists of All Time: https://crownnote.com/charts/gameskiller01/my-favourite-songs-of-all-time

Top albums of the week:

1) Dave - 'PSYCHODRAMA' (=)
2) Ariana Grande - 'thank u, next' (=)
3) Post Malone - 'beerbongs & bentleys' (+1)
4) AJ Tracey - 'AJ Tracey' (-1)
5) Khalid - 'Free Spirit' (=)

With a 7th consecutive week atop both charts, Dave edges ever closer to setting records. On the albums chart he's still a long way off, with 'PSYCHODRAMA' unlikely to match the 18 consecutive, and 25 non-consecutive, weeks at #1 for 'beerbongs & bentleys' (which spends its 52nd week in the Top 5 this week, the only album to ever manage it, consecutively or not), leaving it in 2nd place. On the singles chart, however, 'Lesley' is now firmly in 2nd place for consecutive and 3rd for non-consecutive, as 'Havana' spent 8 non-consecutive (4 consecutive) weeks at #1 and 'God is a woman' spent 10 non-consecutive (9 consecutive) weeks at #1. At this point it seems very likely to at least match 'Havana', though 'Lesley' will likely manage it consecutively while 'Havana' only managed it non-consecutively. This is the longest that an artist has ever topped both charts simultaneously, beating the 4 weeks of 'She Loves Control' and 'Camila', so Dave does at least have that record.

In addition to that, as 'Location' spends a 4th week at #2 behind 'Lesley', it's the longest time ever spent with 2 songs by the same artist at #1 and #2. It beats the 2 consecutive weeks managed by 'Real Friends' & 'Never Be The Same', 'She Loves Control' & 'Real Friends', 'God is a woman' & 'breathin' and 'break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored' & 'bad idea', and the 2 non-consecutive weeks managed by 'Havana' & 'OMG'. In total, Dave has spent 5 weeks as his own runner-up, while Camila Cabello has managed 9 weeks, Ariana Grande has spent 7 and Post Malone has spent 3. At #4 Avicii's 'SOS' climbs 2 to a new peak, while 'break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored' rebounds 1 to #8 and Zara Larsson's 'Don't Worry Bout Me' climbs 4 to reach the Top 10 for the 1st time at #9, the 1st time Zara has ever reached the Top 10.

The week's highest debut comes from the 'Game of Thrones' inspried 'For the Throne' album, and features chart veteran The Weeknd, alongside SZA & Travis Scott. 'Power is Power' debuts at #10, The Weeknd's 10th Top 10, SZA's and Travis Scott's 2nd each. Just outside the Top 10 'i'm so tired...' climbs a further 4 places to #11, a new peak, while 'Piece of Your Heart' and 'All Day and Night' both climb 5 places to new peaks. Post Malone's '92 Explorer' becomes just the 4th track to reach a full year on the chart as it rebounds 5 places to #19 on its 52nd week on the chart. It also makes Post Malone the only artist to have 2 tracks with over 52 weeks on the chart, as 'rockstar' has spent a total of 74 weeks on the chart. 'Wow.' also rebounds 2 to #20. Kygo & Rita Ora debut at #28 with 'Carry On', while another 'Game of Thrones' track 'Jenny of Oldstones' debuts at #32, this time not from 'For the Throne' but from the Season 8 Soundtrack. Lastly, 'Bloodstream' rebounds 2 to #29, its 1st time in the Top 30 since September 2018.

Thanks for reading everyone! :D

Hey Gameskiller! :)
Dave continuing to hold both #1 & #2 is impressive, but I love that 'SOS' climbs into the Top 5 this week.
'Piece Of Your Heart' & 'All Day & Night' are both fantastic dance songs, so both of them heading for the Top 10 is awesome!
Finally, I like the debuts for 'Power Is Power' & especially 'Carry On'! I wasn't the biggest fan of 'Jenny Of Oldstones' unfortunately.
I hope you have a good week!

Hey Piran! 'Lesley' and 'Location' already have the longest run at both #1 and #2 for the same artist, currently at 4 weeks, and I think it may actually be the longest consecutive run at #1 and #2 for the same songs by any artists as well! Ariana and Camila have both spent longer at #1 and #2 at the same time in total, but never consecutively. The 2 songs should remain where they are next week as well, but 'Lesley's grip at #1 is fading, and 'Power is Power' is growing quickly so the week after that may see the Top 2 finally broken up. 'Piece Of Your Heart' and 'All Day and Night' probably won't be going Top 10 next week thanks to 'For The Throne', but both do have a good chance of reaching it eventually! 'Power is Power' will definitely keep climbing, but 'Carry On' will probably fall, at least until 'Detective Pikachu' comes out. For me, the main appeal for 'Jenny of Oldstones' came from the context within the show rather than the song itself, so if you don't watch the show I can definitely see it having a much smaller impact. Thanks for the comment! :D
