Ariana Grande manages to knock herself off the top for a 2nd consecutive week as 'break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored' ascends to the top, pushing 'bloodline' down to #3 as 'bad idea' also rebounds to #2. The only artist to ever knock themselves off the top 2 weeks in a row before is The Weeknd, who managed it in a very similar fashion to Ariana following the release of 'My Dear Melancholy,'. 'Call Out My Name' debuted at #1, the next week 'Try Me' dethroned it and the week after that 'Wasted Times' went to #1. 'break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored' is Ariana's 5th #1, putting her behind only Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd & Post Malone, all with 6, and Camila Cabello with 9. As Ariana holds the entire Top 5 yet again this week, she becomes the only artist to ever hold the Top 5 for 3 weeks, let alone consecutively. In fact no other artist has ever managed it for 2 weeks, and only Camila Cabello & The Weeknd have ever managed it for 1 week.
The highest non-Ariana track this week is yet again 'Don't Call Me Up', which climbs 7 places to match its previous peak of #7. Post Malone's 'Wow.' also manages to rebound 6 places to reach the Top 10 at #10, leaving Ariana with 8 simultaneous Top 10s, still higher than any other artist has managed other than when Camila Cabello had a Top 10 clean sweep following the release of 'Camila'. Both it and 'Kamikaze' managed 7 Top 10s in their 2nd weeks, which Ariana beats this week. AJ Tracey's 'Ladbroke Grove' climbs 2 places to a new peak of #17 this week, overtaking and matching the peak of 'Psych Out!' in the process. His 'Butterflies' also climbs 2 to #19, giving AJ his 5th Top 20 hit.
Lewis Capaldi has a very good week, as both 'Grace' and 'Someone You Loved' make big climbs in the lower half of the chart. 'Grace' climbs 7 to #21, while 'Someone You Loved' is hot on its heels, up 8 to #22. Both have a very good chance of reaching the Top 10 in the coming weeks, even with Ariana's continued domination. At #26 'Lost in the Fire' rebounds 1 place, and this week's highest debut comes courtesy of Dave with 'Black' at #29. It marks Dave's 9th total chart entry. Long-running chart hits '92 Explorer' and 'Bloodstream' see rebounds, while Ariana sees a re-entry and a debut with 'One Last Time' at #32 and 'Love Me Harder' at #37, bringing her simultaneous chart entries up to 16. Tom Walker debuts at #38 with 'Not Giving In', his 4th chart entry, and Ed Sheeran sees 2 re-entries from 'x' at #39 & #40.

Hey Piran! I definitely think 'break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored' will manage to stay at #1 for a little while on my charts, though 'bad idea' could definitely go back to #1 and allow Ariana to dethrone herself a 3rd time! 'Don't Call Me Up' should manage to stay in the Top 10 a little while as well, though 'Wow.' will likely drop down again next week. 'Someone You Loved' and 'Grace' both have a very good chance of reaching the Top 10 next week, though 'Grace' is currently my favourite and the more likely of the 2. 'Not Giving In' will be making a huge jump next week, while 'Black' and Ariana's re-entry & debut will all be making smaller climbs. Ariana's also set to have at least 1 more entry next week as 'Rule The World' will almost definitely debut. Ed's re-entries will likely fall out, though. Thanks for the comment! :D
Hey Gameskiller! :)
As I mentioned to you over on my chart, I love that we share the same #1 this week & allowing 'Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored' only the second song ever to reach the top of both of charts, according to your last reply to me.
Aside from that, I love seeing 'Don't Call Me Up' & 'Wow' come back to Top 10, as well as 'Someone You Loved' being the biggest climber of the week!
I also like all of the debuts & re-entries this week.
Impressive chart once again!
