After spending the past 15 weeks lingering around the Top 5, Ariana Grande's 'God is a woman' climbs 4 places to return to #1 for a 10th non-consecutive week following it being by far my favourite song of 2018. It was already the longest running #1 before, but now it becomes the first #1 ever to spend 10 weeks at #1! Just below at #2 Cashmere Cat's 'Quit', on which Ariana provides the vocals, climbs 5 places to its highest position since 14th July, 2017, when it was last at #1. Ariana also sees other climbs within the Top 10, with 'thank u, next' rebounding 1 place to #8 and 'imagine' climbing 10 places to #10, becoming her 7th Top 10 in the process. It's also the 2nd highest climber of the week. Last week's #1, Nina Nesbitt's 'Colder', drops 2 to #3.
Outside of the Top 10, Clean Bandit & Anne-Marie's 'Should've Known Better' bursts into life after 5 weeks bouncing between #23 and #19, climbing 6 places to a new peak of #13. Just 1 place below that is this week's highest, and only, debut - Headie One & Dave's '18HUNNA' is new at #14. It's Headie One's first chart entry, while Dave has previously been to #1 with 'Funky Friday' and #11 with 'Hangman' - this is Dave's 8th chart entry in total. MJ Cole's 'Waking Up' rebounds to its peak of #17, while 21 Savage sees the highest climber of the week with 'a lot'. The track climbs a massive 13 places to #21. Many of 21's other tracks climb as well - 'ball w/o you' is up 6 to #34 and 'asmr' is up 3 to #36. Finally, 'She Loves Control' gets its 52nd week on the chart this week - a whole year on the chart! The only songs to do this previously are 'rockstar' and 'Bloodstream', both of which are still on the chart and rebound 2 places this week.
Thanks for reading everyone! :D

Hey Piran! Ariana's success this week will sadly be short-lived (not that she's ever had an unsuccessful week since the release of 'God is a woman') as most of her tracks will likely fall, but it does make room for 3 new tracks to likely make new peaks in the Top 3 next week! As you can see from the predictions, '18HUNNA' is likely to be one of them and could definitely reach #1 in the future, following on from 'Funky Friday' reaching #1. 'Wow.' also has a better chance of reaching #1 than it ever has before, though 'Lost in the Fire' is still the leader so far. Thanks for the comment! :D
Hey Sergej! This week will probably be 'God is a woman's last at #1, but it's already spent 10 weeks there so that's hardly a bad thing! 'Lost in the Fire' is still in the lead so far, and I can't really see it losing the lead before the end of the week so it should be pretty safe at #1 for next week! Thanks for the comment! :D
Hey Gameskiller! :)
It's good to see such a successful week for Ariana Grande, with 'God Is A Woman' going back to #1, 'Quit' just beneath it & 'Imagine' reaching the Top 10.
It's cool that the only debut of the week is '18HUNNA', which continues the streak of Dave songs that have impressed me!
The predictions for next week look awesome too.
