On this week's chart, BTS debuts at the top in line with their new album Be with single "Life Goes On". The KPOP group collects their third number one single after singles "On" and "Dynamite", signaling the continueing of their crossover success in the United States. BTS debuts at the top with the help of robust sales, likewise continuing the trend of BTS' singles garnering the majority of its points from sales. This week, BTS sold copies through their online store and likewise in digital retailers. Unlike previous single "Dynamite", "Life Goes On" is not being initially sent to radio and thus will need a steady source of sales and streams in order to repeat the same longetivity "Dynamite" saw that "On" did not have. At number two, "Mood" by 24kGolden featuring iann dior repeats its position from last week after leading for two nonconsecutive weeks as it leads the radio airwaves and continues to rack up consistent sales and streams. Nonetheless, "Mood" has seemed to peak in points as its radio airplay begins to slip. New at number three this week is a Canadian duo of Shawn Mendes & Justin Bieber with "Monster". "Monster" is the third charting effort for Shawn Mendes in 2020 after previous 2019 number one carryover "Senorita" with Camilla Mendes and number ten debuting "Wonder". For Bieber, "Monster" follows the three number ones "Yummy", "Stuck With U", and "Holy" along with number three peaking "Intentions" featuring Quavo, number four peaking "10,000 Hours" with Dan + Shay (also a 2019 carrover), and number ten peaking "Lonely" with benny blanco. "I Hope" the surprise hit from The Voice contestant Gabby Barret continues its uncanny run by slipping to number four in its forty-second week on the chart. "I Hope" has enjoyed such a lengthy run on the charts due to a crossover from country to pop radio just barely saving the song from recurrency in its twentieth week. While songs usually struggle to even reach forty weeks on the chart, "I Hope" is peaking at the same time. Likewise slipping one spot is previous number one debut "positions" by Ariana Grande, although up substantially in points with enormous gains in radio airplay. "positions" is a continuation of a successful year for Ariana Grande after number ones "Rain On Me" with Lady Gaga and "Stuck With U" with Justin Bieber. Last week's number one "Therefore I Am" by Billie Eilish slides five spots to number six, although showing signs of strong radio airplay along with steady streaming numbers. After hitting the top five for the first time last week, "Lemonade" by Internet Money featuring Don Toliver, Gunna, and Nav slides two spots to number seven. Likewise falling two spots is previous number one debut "Laugh Now, Cry Later" by Drake featuring Lil Durk and chart staple "Blinding Lights", which hits its fortieth consecutive week within the top ten after fist enterting the region at the end of February ("Blinding Lights" spent one single week at number ten in December of 2019 before spending one week off the chart and ten weeks bouncing around the bottom of the chart before reboudning.) Finally, at number ten is "Body" by Megan Thee Stallion, which debuts with robusts streaming numbers after the release of Megan's debut album Good News. Megan Thee Stallion likewise continues a successful 2020 after two number one singles, "Savage" with Beyonce and "WAP" with Cardi B. "Body" looks to continue gaining in the next week following continued increases in sales, streams, and airplay, uncommon for a high debut in its second week and after an album release.
