Clean Bandit & Demi Lovato defend top spot - Three new entries in top 10
"Solo" by Clean Bandit ft. Demi Lovato remains at the top of the charts this week, fending off Ariana Grande's "No Tears Left To Cry", which trades spots with "One Kiss" by Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa. It's the second week on top of the charts for Clean Bandit & Demi, however a new challenger in Jess Glynne's "I'll Be There" is approaching. The English singer and songwriters' lead single for her second studio album has been steadily climbing the charts every week, reaching a new #4 peak this week. South Korean boyband BTS close out this weeks top 5 with "Fake Love", which rises a single spot. Below the Bangtan Boys, Alice Merton leaps forward a whopping 15 spots with "Lash Out", the German's second top 10 hit. Shawn Mendes drops 3 spots this week, landing at #7 with "In My Blood", ahead of Taylor Swift's "Delicate", which also drops a place. Selena Gomez reaches a new #9 peak with "Back To You", gaining points off the back of the new music video. Demi Lovato gets another top 10 hit, closing out this weeks top 10 together with Christina Aguilera. Their song "Fall In Line", which debuted at #20 last week, jumps forward 10 spots.
Right outside the top 10, Pharrell Williams & Camila Cabello finally have a positive week again, as "Sangria Wine" climbs two spots to land at #11. "Nevermind", the sleeper hit by Israeli artist Dennis Lloyd, drops out of the top 10 this week, falling 8 places. Behind Dennis, both Charli XCX and Ella Mai have a good week, with the latter gaining a huge 34 places with "Boo'd Up", this weeks biggest gainer. Both Charlie Puth and ZAYN drop out of the top 10 this week, with ZAYN's "Entertainer" falling 14 places, a low this week. Between them, ELI rises two spots with "Change Your Mind".
Tove Lo's collaboration with Charli XCX, Icona Pop, Elliphant & ALMA, "bitches", is the highest debut of the week. The single debuts at #30, infront of Juice WRLD's "Lucid Dreams", which rises 32 places and would've been this weeks biggest gainer if it wasn't for "Boo'd Up". German-Moroccan singer Namika leaps forward 15 places with "Je ne parle pas français". The ultra catchy German song is a dark horse for Song of the Summer. Summer Cem & BAUSA also jump forward 16 spots with rap song "Casanova". Another single giving off major summer vibes, in George Ezra's "Shotgun", debuts at #43. Maroon 5 & Cardi B have a big week, climbing from #70 to #47 with "Girls Like You". "Scars To Your Beautiful" by Alessia Cara rises 10 spots today. The lead single for Alessia's second studio album is set to debut on the 15th June and could impact the charts as soon as next week. Post Malone re-enters the charts with "Psycho" at #56.
