Kris Kross Amsterdam hit Number 1 with “Hij Is Van Mij”, featuring Dutch stars Maan, Tabitha and Bizzey

January 11, 2019 | 40 songs

Link’s Top 40 is a weekly chart based on my personal most-listened to songs per week, varying from recent hits to older songs (80s, 90s, 00s).

Kris Kross Amsterdam scores the first new Number 1 of 2019 with Hij Is Van Mij, dethroning Billie Eilish’s when the party’s over. Kris Kross Amsterdam is aided by Dutch singers Maan and Tabitha on the track, also featuring rapper Bizzey. Hij Is Van Mij is Maan’s second Number 1-hit, as she already scored one with Blijf Bij Mij back in January 2018. The new chart-topper is also Bizzey’s second Number 1-hit, as he hit the top earlier with Wine Slow in December 2018. Some bit further down the chart, Little Mix score their sixth Top 10-hit with Told You So and David Guetta scores the highest debut of the week with Say My Name.
