Spice Girls continue to dominate the list for a second week

The Spice Girls continue to dominate the list with Wannabe. This is their second week at Number 1. Their single has already topped the charts in the United Kingdom. The girls do face strong competition from Robbie Williams, as he follows closely with Freedom. Céline Dion also poses as a threat with It's All Coming Back to Me Now at Number 3.

Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen rebound to the Top 10 with their theme for ‘Mission Impossible’. The iconic tune has already peaked at Number 10 earlier this month, but the song now reaches a new peak at Number 9. The single remains the first ever voiceless single to peak within the Top 10.

Eternal score their second Top 10-hit with Someday. The single serves as the theme song for Disney’s ‘The Hunchback of the Notre Dame’. The girl group previously peaked in the Top 10 with Baby I…, which is the group’s biggest hit on this list. Their newest effort reaches Number 10 this week.

The Charlatans score the highest debut of the week. The English rock group has not entered the list before, making One To Another. The biggest hits of the Charlatans across Europe are The Only One I Know and Then. Their newest single debuts at Number 25.

Trijntje Oosterhuis debuts on the list this week with De Zee. The song poses as the main promotional song of the newly opened Amsterdam ArenA. Trijntje Oosterhuis sang the song during the televised opening. Although this song is Miss Oosterhuis her debut on this list, she has already scored a hit with Touch Me There as a member of Total Touch. This is her first proper solo-single without Total Touch. She debuts at Number 36 this week.
