Spice Up Your Life: the Spice Girls go Top 10!

November 9, 2018 | 40 songs

Link’s Top 40 is a weekly chart based on my personal most-listened to songs per week, varying from recent hits to older songs (80s, 90s, 00s).

Because of the new Spice Girls reunion and their upcoming 2019 Spiceworld Tour, Who Do You Think You Are and Say You’ll Be There have entered the Top 10. Their 1997-hit Spice Up Your Life scores the highest new entry of the week at Number 12. The Dutch artists seem to be doing a pretty good job this week as well, as many Dutch songs rise in the charts. Lil Kleine and Frenna, both Dutch rappers, reach Number 8 with Verleden Tijd and Davina Michelle’s Duurt Te Lang narrowly misses out on the Top 10. The biggest gainers of the week are also Dutch songs; SLIDE by Caza and Famke Louise rises fifteen places and Tabitha’s Kom Dichterbij Me rises ten places.
