My Top 50

February 8, 2019 | 50 songs

Alec Benjamin's "Let Me Down Slowly" holds on to #1, MAG!C☆PRINCE, Ryan Higa, Chris Brown, Utada Hikaru, and CHANMINA reach new peaks in the Top 10, while BgA's "Who's It Gonna Be" and Alec Benjamin's "Stan" enter the region.

Just below we see debuts in the Top 20, from Billie Eilish and Morning Musume (the latter fueled from a dance video done by Nishioka Kengo of MAG!C☆PRINCE). Further down, we see debuts from FES☆TIVE, NF, Poppin'Party, and 21 Savage, while the Backstreet Boys fail to make an impact with their latest album 'DNA'. Japan once again is the top country, now taking 50% of the chart.

Next week, prepare for a few tracks from Ariana Grande's latest album to debut in the Top 10.

Starting this week, genres like J-pop and K-pop will now be removed from "Pop" and made into their own categories. Also, songs that is decided that falls into two genres will be halved. This will be decided on a case-by-case basis.

Oh wow... I really like this chart! :) It's good to see Alec Benjamin have a successful week, with 'Let Me Down Slowly' spending a second week at #1 & his cover of 'Stan' jumping into the Top 10. I also love seeing 'Bury A Friend' being the highest debut of the week, as well a 'A Lot' entering for the first time! Even better than both of those are the gains for 'Sweet But Psycho', the return of 'Party For One' & 'Don't Feel Like Crying' ascending the bubbling under chart. I also look forward to seeing Ariana Grande getting two debuts in your Top 10 next week if the predictions hold! Have a nice weekend.

Glad you like it! I'm not sure how much longer "Let Me Down Slowly" can hold the #1. "Sakura My Friends" is getting very close. I can see "Bury a Friend" and "Sweet But Psycho" doing quite well. Not too sure about "A Lot". We'll have to see. Ariana is going to do decently next week, I think.
