Hey Oobling! :)
It's awesome hearing that you think my chart looks amazing again.
Oh yeah, I'm a fan of punk-rock anyway, so the fact that The 1975 of all groups made a song like this is even better. I agree that it's also good to blast out whenever you need to get your anger out, haha!
I think some of those Lady Gaga & Kygo tracks will gain next week as I got more into their albums, while 'ily' might actually surpass its peak with how much I've been streaming it this week.
Thanks for the comment!
Hey Piran, well first of all it was interesting to see which Kygo and Lady Gaga tracks would make your chart. And to my surprise, the album tracks that entered your chart were completely different to mine! I did like "Feels like Forever" but I found some other Kygo tracks more noticeable. You are a fan of Oh Wonder, so was not surprised to see the duet with Kygo enter your chart. Also interesting to see some tracks enter relating to #BlackLivesMatter. Interesting chart as always! Finally, did you prefer Lady Gaga's album or Kygo's? Im guessing Kygo?
Hey Zack! :)
I'm interested to see what tracks from 'Golden Hour' & 'Chromatica' are on your chart this week then, but I'm not sure we'll see more climbers & debuts for both albums next week.
I'd give Kygo a very narrow edge, which means he'll be at #2 when I update my albums chart on Sunday, with Lady Gaga at #3. Of course, The 1975 will easily claim a second consecutive week at #1 there!
I don't see either of the #BlackLivesMatter support songs sticking around for another week, but hey, I felt like they needed to be here this week, given the tragedy that has unfolded across America lately.
Thanks for the comment as usual!
Hi Piran!
Nice to see "Feels Like Forever" in the top 3 and "ILY (I Love You Baby)" in the top 10, I also like the huge gains for "People" and "Don't Need Love".
As for your debuts and re-entries, I like "Sour Candy", "How Would I Know", "Someday", "This Is America", "Sine From Above", "Freedom", "I'll Wait", "Alice", "Fuck tha Police", "Roses (Imanbek Remix)", "Circles" and "I Dunno".
Great chart!
Please check out my chart if you have the time!
Hey Sergej! :)
I don't know how well 'Feels Like Forever' will hold up, but 'ily (i love you baby)' should get an even bigger rebound next week, maybe even reaching a new peak.
'People' should get a little higher, but not too sure about 'Don't Need Love' just yet!
I'm glad you like so many of the debuts this week! I'm sure you'll be pleased that some of the other tracks from: The 1975, Kygo & Lady Gaga might even make it even higher next week (we might even see some more debuts for each of them!).
Thanks for the comment as usual.
I'll check out your new chart now!
Hie Piran I like the gains for ily & Like it is. Also appreciated Kygo entries and reentries from him too and This is america & Circles.
Also like Lady gaga entries.
Interesting to see top 2 steady do we expect it like that next week and stiff competition especially with not so much releases this week! ! Amazing chart! !
Hey Brandy! :)
'ily' might actually hit a new peak next week thanks to the sudden surge of radio airplay it's getting here in the UK.
Kygo's new album is what caused 'Like It Is' to take a small rebound this week. I imagine a lot of the 'Golden Hour' tracks will be dropping next week, although I think 'Broken Glass' with Kim Petras might be able to finally debut!
I'll post my full Top 10 predictions in a few minutes.
Thanks for the comment!
I'll check out your new chart now.
Stay safe!
Hey Davyl! :)
I think both 'This Is America' & 'F**k Tha Police' will fall back a little, but they should still remain the chart, especially with the lack of new music this past week.
I could see most of the 'Chromatica' tracks having an even more success in the next chart!
Thanks for the comment.
Stay safe!
Hey Piran! I like that 'Shooting Star' stays at #1 for a 2nd week and 'Rain On Me' holds at #2, and I also like the big debut for 'Feels Like Forever' at #3! 'Be Kind' getting a small rebound to #4 is great as well. I love all the Kygo tracks on the chart this week, as well as seeing 'Golden Hour' debut at #2 on the albums chart, though I do find it surprising that, despite you having 6 Kygo tracks on the chart and me having 11, the only tracks we share are actually the 2 pre-released singles 'I'll Wait' and 'Like It Is', as well as 'Someday'. Still, I do like the other tracks that we don't share as well. it's also cool to see 'This Is America' and 'Fuck tha Police' on the chart, presumably because of the current situation in the US, and I love that both 'Roses' and 'Circles' re-enter this week! What caused both of them to re-enter? Lastly, I love that 'I Dunno' just sneaks in at the bottom of the chart; will it be climbing next week? Great chart again! :D
Hey Gameskiller! :)
Glad you like 'Shooting Star' still at #1, but as you can see, 'Rain On Me' is closing in on it fast.
I do think we'll see some more tracks from 'Golden Hour' that aren't in today's chart get some success, particularly 'Broken Glass' with Kim Petras!
Yeah, 'This Is America' re-entering & 'F**k Tha Police' debuting are both due to what's happened out in America lately.
'Roses' & 'Circles' both returned thanks to a lot of radio airplay really!
Regarding 'I Dunno', I think the title itself best answers your question, haha! I'm not really sure if it'll stay on for another week to be honest.
Thanks for the comment as usual!
Maybe! We will have to see. My chart is complete by the way!
As always, your chart is looking amazing. The highlight for me is the massive gain for People- it's a song where even if it isn't your genre and you don't play it that much, it is an objectively very well made tune (great lyrics, instrumentation and production) worth at least a 9/10. Plus I need some more angsty aggressive songs right now. I also love the gains for "ily", "The birthday party" and the debut for "Sour Candy" and reentry of "This Is America". I'm somewhat surprised that your whole chart wasn't taken over by Kygo and Gaga, though it is still nice to see the impact they are having, particularly the debut of "How Would I Know". I guess Kygo is quite unlucky- with us all stuck at home and the world seemingly collapsing around us, I really don't feel like listening to the blissful, summery beats of Kygo.
