In the very last chart of 2018, Ariana Grande holds at #1 with "Thank U, Next", for a 4th consecutive week, and also at #2 with "Breathin", which becomes the song that's spent the most time (8 weeks) in the runner-up, without ever hitting #1. The Killers also hold at #3 with their former 4-week #1, "The Man", and Jason Derulo holds at #4 (the current peak) with "Goodbye", featuring David Guetta, Nicki Minaj and Willy William. Panic! at the Disco re-enter the top 5 with "High Hopes", which previously peaked at #4.
Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus hit a new high with "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart", which ascends to #6, while Ciara backtracks to #7 with her former #1 hit, "Level Up". The Chainsmokers and Emily Warren hold steady at #8 with former #1 "Side Effects", and Clean Bandit spend a 6th consecutive week at #9 with "Baby" (its peak position), featuring Marina & The Diamonds and Luis Fonsi. Halsey debuts at #10 with "Without Me".
More to come in 2019, including potentially some radical changes in the top 10.
