This week there's a very big change. Last week, I re-introduced the Top 100, and from now on, the charts are more than just a bunch of tracks in an order I think is accurate. Now the charts are actually based on some facts: There are 2 things counting:
#1- How the charts used to be: Like I said, 'a bunch of tracks in an order I think is accurate.' Now in that order, the songs are gonna get points, 100 points for the #1, 99 for the #2, 1 for the #100 and so on.
#2- The most played songs on Spotify by myself. I use a site that tracks everything I listen to on Spotify and gives me all sorts of fun statistics including the most played songs. I use the most played songs in the last 30 days. The points given to the songs are the amount of plays x 10. For example, 'In The End' by Linkin Park was with 14 plays my most played track in the last 30 days. That means it will get 140 points added up to the score of the normal chart order earlier mentioned. If you want to know what the site is, send me a personal message because I'm not 100% sure if it's allowed to share links or not.
Onto the actual chart, Tool remains #1 with 'Fear Inoculum' for a 3rd week. Slipknot also doesn't move and stays #2 for a 3rd week with' Unsainted'. It's only ONE point behind Tool so maybe they could takeover the #1 next week since it would only take 1 more play than Tool to overtake them. Finishing the Top 3, Post Malone and Young Thug re-gain 1 spot with 'Goodbyes', also just 2 points behind Slipknot.
Dotan goes back up again with 'Numb' at #4, and due to the massive amount of streams, Linkin Park blasts their way up the charts at #5 with 'In The End'.
Ice Nine Kills finnaly get another top 10 with 'The Jig Is Up' at #6, Also Asking Alexandria enters the top 10. However, with that track they have already been in the top 10 before and even reached #1. Wage War gains a single spot with 'Who I Am' at #8 and 'Time' by NF crashes down to #9. A massive re-gain for The Score at #10 with 'Stay'.
