Zach's Weekly Top 30 - May 26, 2016

• We have a new #1 this week as Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' Dance Off jumps 3-1 in its 2nd charting week. It becomes the 8th #1 song since this chart was launched here 17 weeks ago. Last week's #1, Disturb's The Sound of Silence slips 1-3, while Drake's One Dance stayed still at #2. The race between the top 3 was very close this week, the narrowest #3 has been from #1 in terms of hits. Sia's Cheap Thrills stays at #5 and AlunaGeorge's I'm In Control rebounds 9-5 to complete the top 5.
• Adele's Send My Love (To Your New Lover) is the top new entry at #6 while Nick Jonas' Chainsaw is in at #9, marking the 5th consecutive week that there has been a debut in the top 10. Pink's Just Like Fire rode some late week interest to a #21 launch and that interest has run over into the new week, so expect some big movement of this song next week. Driven by more late week action Lemme Freak by Lil Dicky debuts at #29. After being initially dismissive of Lil Dicky's music, I have entered a period of addiction so expect big showing from this song and maybe some others by the rapper in the coming weeks.
• The prize for greatest gainer this week goes to Twenty One Pilots' Ride (22-14). A special mention must be made of Kent Jones' Don't Mind (30-15) which was close behind in terms of gains.
• With The Weeknd's In the Night departing the Weekly Top 30 this week, Lukas Graham's 7 Years is now the only song which has been on the chart every week since its inception.
• There was an error in my excel formula keeping tabs of Popcaan's weekly artist totals which affected the last two weeks (and possibly part of the third week before this week). The formula has been corrected.
