The Biggest Songs Of The Week!

Kate Bush holds onto the no.1 spot for a 3rd consecutive week on my singles chart with “Running up that hill”, thanks to the its use in Stranger Things season 4. There are no signs of the song letting go easily from the top spot where it is getting stronger every week. It is also the first song to go 3 consecutive weeks at no.1 in 2022. Sam Fender is only a couple of weeks away from spending the whole year in the top 40 with “Seventeen Going Under” which is pretty impressive. A shout out also to Beyonce with “break my soul” who despite only being released for a couple of days manages to enter at no.33 and is expected to climb next week.

Meanwhile Post Malone fought off stiff competition from Drake to climb up to the no.1 album spot.

Longest chart runners:

  1. Sam Fender – 17 going under (50 consecutive weeks)
  2. Tate McRae – She’s all I wanna be (20 consecutive weeks)
  3. Camila Cabello & Ed Sheeran – Bam Bam (16 consecutive weeks)
  4. Ella Henderson – Emotions (15 consecutive weeks)

Next week, look out for new singles from Taylor Swift, MUNA, Netsky & Rita Ora, Charlie Puth & Jung Kook, Tove Lo, Dove Cameron & finally Eminem & Snoop Dogg.

Meanwhile look out for new albums from MUNA, Chris Brown & Giveon

Hi Zack!
Nice to see Kate still at the top, as well as the return for "Bad Life" and the debut for "BREAK MY SOUL".
Great chart!

Hie buddy impressed to see Kate running for the third week atop it has really have huge impact..very similar to the UK chart such an old song really impacting hugely. Interesting to see DFMU having huge plays why now ?

Like seeing don't they jumping into top 5 ,,insane vocals on that song .interesting to see the huge jump of Cooped up u ain't always a fan to rap song. Big Energy holds up in the top 10 for a while sadly i don't like the remix. Latto won best new artist on bet awards. Interesting to see Falling Back new #10 wonder what helped it..being the only on that album. Like seeing the lowly debuts of Break my Soul and Suprise.

Break my Soul is an interesting track it sound modern but also 90s like 2000s .

Suprise takes me back to 00s rnb style hope chloe's album comes out sooner  cant truly wait for it .

Hey mate, im loving the popularity for the Kate Bush track. I've always liked it and Im a sucker for 80s tracks. Its still getting even bigger given the second part of stranger things is about to premier on Friday. Its made me love the song all over again. Ive been playing Ella Mai's album and naturally have gone back to DFMU, as the most played on the album now. Could have gone no.1 if it wasnt for Kate Bush. I was playing "Don't They" non stop last week, so catchy and my style of rnb music. "Cooped up" has been a slow grower on me until Ive listened to Post Malone last week which also lifted the album to no.1. The popularty of the Latto track for me is all because of "Fantasy" by Mariah Carey. Its perfect for the summer so is having some longevity now that the sun is out. "Falling back" entered by Drake as it was the only song with an official video and I havnt had the time to play most of his other tracks yet... Beyonce entered low as it only just came out - it does sample a 90s dance track. I think Chloe's 2 previous releases were a lot stronger than "surprise". She had a no.1 for with the catchy "treat me".
