Chartbreakers:

Congratulations to Hailee Steinfeld who gets her first ever number 1 on my chart with “I love you’s”.  It was eventually going to happen, given that almost every new entry she has had on my chart has peaked in the top 10, with her last single peaking at no.2 (wrong direction). She was also boosted with a re-entry of her previous release “Back to life” following myself watching “Bumblebee” over the past week which also explains the entry from Bon Jovi with “Runaway”.

Meanwhile, The Weeknd returns to the number 1 spot on the album chart, and holds the no.3, 4 and 5 positions this week on the singles chart. Selena Gomez has the highest new entry with “Boyfriend” entering at 6.

Regarding next week’s fight for number 1; Hailee will have to battle it out with Dua Lipa and The Weeknd again. But there are some major, huge new entries aiming to get to number 1.

The biggest single of the week is the huge collaboration between Demi Lovato and Sam Smith with “I’m ready”. Demi has already had two top 5 singles on my chart this year alone meanwhile Sam Smith had the biggest song of 2019 on my chart last year when he last collaborated with an artist (Normani), so this song could be huge! It also is yet another song with an 80s vibe, bound to be a hit!

Another of my favourite artists; Florence & The Machine returns with “Light of Love” which could chart high! There is also a big return for Kelly Clarkson with “I dare you” and also a surprise release from Kelly Rowland with “Coffee”. Too early to say if this song will impact my chart but she has not had a hit on my chart for a VERY long time.

There could also be potential new entries from Tiesto & Becky Hill, Lauren Jauregui, John Legend & finally Kygo (who could have 3 songs in the top 40 next week?)...

Hey Zack! Great to see Hailee finally getting a No.1 song on your chart! I also loved seeing Boyfriend debuting so high! However, how come Roxette and Keala Settle returned and debuted on your chart, respectively? Anyways, amazing chart this week!

Hi Menelaus, glad you like the new number 1. Well, Roxette recently was in my chart when the lead singer passed away and I have always been a fan of the song. But the main reason why it re-entered was that I finally had time to watch the movie "Pretty Woman", and the song is used in the movie and I ended up playing the song a lot during the week; hence why it appears back in the top 40! Keala Settle enters the chart, as it was featured on last weeks episode of Britains got talent (a choir performance) and the song therefore has re-charted! Hence, there are always a few surprises on my chart, but don't expect these songs to last in the charts. Hope your well !

Woooa how are you buddy hope you safe !
That is a suprise by I Love You's! well done
Lovin the entrance by Selena Gomez Boyfriend ,"Believe It "and the gain for " Drake Toosie Slide""Don't Rush " ;"I Choose "I Love Me" ;I'll Wait "
I love seeing the re entry of Bad Child " I see it's because of video?
I see the Weeknd &Selena Gomez dominates your chart considering their exes lold.
I see we have same type of music in our charts I'm happy to see 90% of your chart makes up song I stream
. As for new releases this week I felt the one by Tiesto & Becky Hill had me singing the catchy chorus She's really meant to be a house vocalist especially the voice she sounds perfect
My chart is out too
Be safe buddy

Hi mate, Im good thanks, hope you are well too. "I love you's" is a great summer tune (not quite summer here in the UK, but we have had sunny days and the song has an 80s vibe which i love)....Yes, Bad child re-entered after I saw the video, the song is growing on me, but it appears that she may end up having a one hit wonder in the UK charts with "dance monkey". Lol, yes, Selena song Boyfriend is at 6, just below 3 songs by the "Weeknd"....but I've noticed that people think every song from Selena is about either Justin or The Weeknd, when it probably aint the case lol. Yes, we do have similar taste, makes it easier to check out your chart. I have not yet heard the song by Tiesto and Becky Hill, but plan to listen to it tonight. Thanks for the comment as always

Hey Zack! I hope you're keeping safe. :)
Of course, my personal highlight of this new chart is Hailee Steinfeld scoring her first ever #1 with 'I Love You's'! I really didn't expect it to get this big here, but I'm still thrilled about it nonetheless. Not only that, but 'Back To Life' debuting at the foot of the chart is equally as awesome!
Apart from her huge success, the debuts for 'Boyfriend' & 'This Is Me' (was the latter because of last week's BGT?) are amazing! I'm also impressed with the re-entry for 'Rome' too.
Amazing chart once again!

Hey Piran, I instantly liked Hailee's song which initially made the top 5. But with the good sunny weather in the UK, the song sounded amazing in the sun, i love the drum beats just before the chorus, try listening to it loud outside in the sunny blue sky (when you do your exercise!). Yeah, you guessed right, "This is me" re-entered after the act performed on BGT. Expect bigger things for Dermot Kennedy on my next chart... hope your well.

Hey Zack! :)
Yeah, it does indeed have a very summery feel to it. My personal favourite part of the song was the passionate & emotional lyrics, especially with how Hailee Steinfeld delivers them! Unfortunately, it dropped out of my latest chart, but you know that almost any song from her will make my Top 50, haha.
Speaking of BGT, what did you think of Beth Porch's audition & do you see it making your next chart?
My new one is out now: https://crownnote.com/charts/piran-delves/pirans-top-50-10
I'm not too bad thanks. Hope you're okay too!

I'm well to thanks. Beth Porch's song was beautiful. I think what put me off was only listening to it as a live auditon, I would have preferred a studio version. I will listen to it more. It has not made my new chart (out today) but you never know for next week!
