The Biggest Songs Of The Week!

TOP 10 ALBUMS of the week

2. Haim – Women In Music Pt. III (down 1)

3. Kygo – Golden Hour (up 2)

4. Dua Lipa – Future Nostalgia (up 2)

5. Sam Fender - Hypersonic Missiles (down 2)

6. Dermot Kennedy - Without fear (down 4)

7. Grimes – Miss Anthropocene (up 3)

8. The Weeknd – After Hours (down 4)

9. Lady Gaga – Chromatica (down 1)

10. Juice WRLD – Legends never die (down 3)

Kygo & Tina Turner have the new number 1 on my top 40 this week with the dance reworking of “What’s love got to to with it”. Initially, it looked like it was going to be a battle with Anne-Marie & Doja Cat, but the former acts managed to easily obtain number 1 this week with a tune perfect for the summer. “To be young” settled in the end with a respectable new entry at number 2.

After three weeks at the top of the album charts, Haim slipped down to number 2. It was Ellie Goulding who took over the top spot with “Brightest Blue”. In addition to this, she dominates the top 40 with 6 singles on the chart, 5 of which are new entries and two within the top 5 including “Love I’m given” entering at number 3 (a great future single?)

Bubbling under the chart:

Delta Goodrem – Paralyzed

DJ Khaled ft Drake – Popstar

DJ Khaled ft Drake – Greece

Doja Cat ft Gucci Mane – Like That

Next week:

Next week’s chart will potentially have the highest number of new entries this year (current best is 16 new entries)...

The big release (and a big surprise!) set to enter on next week’s chart is a whole new lockdown album by Taylor Swift titled “Folklore”! “Cardigan” is set to the first single but expect a possible takeover of the top 40 next week with multiple album tracks and a high possibility of knocking Ellie Goulding off the number 1 album spot. Could “Cardigan” or any other album track knock of Kygo & Tina Turner? Expect an epic battle for the top spot.

I’ve not heard the song yet, but I’m expecting a summer banger from a huge collaboration between J.Balvin, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny & Tainy titled “Un Dia (One Day)”. Something tells me it could be a big new entry next week? There is a also a brand new single release from Maroon 5, titled “Nobody’s love”.

Meanwhile other artists aiming to break into the top 10 are Little Mix with the summery feels on “Holiday” & the new single from Kylie Minogue titled “Say Something”. The Naked & Famous also release their new album “Recover”.

Other potential new entries next week:

Jason Derulo

Bon Jovi

Hie my buddy I adore this chart especially the top 3 competitive debut .interesting we have To Be Young on our both charts. I'm happy Ellie Goulding could make entrances !I'm happy to see the gains for Physical & Natalie Don't with the former impressed on its longevity .I'm happy to see other debut Zedd Ft jasmine Thompson also it didn't really grow on me bubbling Under! I'm really impressed with Ellie Gouldingvery still same voice although the pop sounds like it's very chilled I'm impressed with the albums Chart especially Ellie Goulding! !
Haim still going strong wow!
Like That bubbling only now ? considering when it was released why?Definitely looking forward to next week esp Little Mix,Jason derulo Taylor Swift, and a lot .A lot releases pulled in the past few weeks did you notice?

Yeah, I still like "Physical", its all about the 80s nostalgia, i hope acts keep making songs with 80s influence! I was a bit late with recognising Doja Cat "Say So" and its the same with her other tracks now aswell e.g "Like That"...but to be honest, it has no chance now of entering the top 40 after Taylor Swift released her surprise album on Friday! For next week, its going tobe a domination from Tyalor Swift, im really liking her album. Yeah I think artists are slowly now starting to release their music. Impressed with Taylor Swifts video, cant even tell it was made duing the whole COVID-19 situtation.

Hi Zack!
Nice to see "What's Love Got To Do With It" at the top, the Ellie debuts, "To Be Young" and "Funny" debuting!
Great chart!
