2. The Killers – Imploding the mirage (down 1)

3. Jojo – Good to know (up 1)

4. Katy Perry – Smile (down 1)

5. The Weeknd – After Hours (up 1)

6. Dua Lipa – Future Nostalgia (down 1)

There are changes this week for both the no.1 singles chart and album chart. Birdy wins the race against Foxes, entering straight at number 1 with her first single in 4 years – “Open your heart”. Birdy has had multiple number 1’s on my chart. Some of her biggest singles include “skinny love”, “wings” and “keeping your head up”. Foxes battled hard all week but settles in the end for the runner up position at no.2 with “friends in the corner”. SZA returns with another collaboration that gives her a top ten chart debut.

Taylor Swift returns to the top on the album charts knocking off The Killers into second place.

Bubbling under the chart:

Ava Max – OMG What’s happening

Potential new entries next week:

David Guetta & Sia – Let’s love (yet another 80’s filled nostalgic tune, dark horse for no.1?)

Marshmello & Demi Lovato – Ok not to be ok (yet another release from Demi- top 10?)

Steps – What the future holds (surprisingly catchy and might do well)

Stefflon Don – Move

Usher – Bad habits (would be really nice to have some big comeback from him)

Janelle Monae – Turntables

MXMTOON ft Carly Rae Jepsen – Ok on your own

M.I.A – CTRL

New albums:

There are no major new albums out over the next week to my liking. This means that Taylor Swift may have a free reign for number 1 again next week.

Hi Zack!
I really like the big debut for "Friends In The Corner" and the other debut for "Lasting Lover"!
Great chart!

Zack How are you?
sorry got held up this weekend I'm happy to see two debuts straight into top 2.

l haven't heard Birdy song I kinda liked Skinny Love i might love it!
Intersting to see SZA inside top 10 it's a smash hit future for me haven't given it more listening but it sounds kinda my deep rnb
.I'm glad Sigala made it i always admire his production of instruments it's unique all his productions
Happy to see Better than this i fell in love with the first listen later in the week something went wrong but it could be part of my most added to my playlist let's see.

Wooah what happened there with Popstar what made you fell in love with it later it's radio I guess .
I'm impressed with Endurance of Physical & Blinding Lights i guess they are part of your summer playlist
intersting Folklore returns to top spot come on that's one of the best albums I've heard this year unskipable list.
Looking forward to seeing Usher debuts I always fall in love with Usher vocal pitch and his rnb style that Bad Habits it's a killer cool flow.
Marshmello & David guetta will have to listen again
Greatest chart,buddy

im good thanks, no need to apologise, i might end up being busy one week, its cool. Im just really into Birdy's music although her song has gone under the radar this week. I like the piano music. Oh yeah, SZA is really cool. She had some big hits with DJ Khaled and Kendrick Lemar last year, very catchy. Yeah, Sigala and Paloma Faith made decent debut. I reckon Sigala's song will climb in the UK chart over the next couple of weeks. Oh, popstar entered the chart because of the new video ft justin bieber, its quite good. It was like they planned the video for j.bieber during making the track. 2020 has been all about 80s nostalgia, not sure how long "Physical" will remain in the chart, "Blinding Lights" still doing good. Dermot is doing well in the top 10. Yeah, "Folklore" is a great album, all the album tracks are great. I think Usher's new song is one of the best he has released in a while! catchy summery intro. I wonder if the song is about his and his bad habits?? Hes a good dancer too, but c.brown overtook him! Marshemllo/Demi song has a great message and catchy. D.Guetta and Sia is more 80s nostalgic greatness! and also, Alicia Keys released a new song too which I found out a day after submitting my chart.
