After the first six Crown 100 charts were all ruled by The Weeknd and Daft Punk, "Starboy" falls to #2 as Bruno Mars's "24K Magic" takes the top spot, leading by about 6500 points. Remaining at #3, Clean Bandit's "Rockabye" (featuring Sean Paul and Anne-Marie) continues its "daily [or weekly] struggle" of having a lot of ground yet to gain, but is fairly steady in its points total. At #4, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj rebound to their original peak with "Side To Side," pushing Little Mix's "Shout Out To My Ex" to #5.
The Chainsmokers featuring Halsey move back up as well, back up 9-6 with "Closer" this week. Sia's #2-peaking "The Greatest," featuring Kendrick Lamar, falls 5-7. At #8 is the week's only top-ten entry, Adele's "Water Under The Bridge," which rises 14-8 in its fifth week on the chart. Rounding out the top ten are OneRepublic's "Kids" (8-9) and Hailee Steinfeld and Grey featuring Zedd's "Starving" (7-10).
Rae Sremmurd's viral hit "Black Beatles," featuring Gucci Mane, continues its ascent toward the top ten, up 15-12 this week. Just behind is Lady Gaga's latest single, "Million Reasons," up 19-13. Also rising quickly is yet another single from The Chainsmokers, "Setting Fires" featuring XYLØ, which leaps 37 spots to #15. DNCE's "Body Moves" also reaches the top twenty at #18.
While The Weeknd no longer holds the top spot, his potential follow-up single and second Daft Punk collaboration, "I Feel It Coming," is the chart's highest debut at #27. "Party Monster," another Starboy pre-release single released on the same day as "I Feel It Coming," enters at #64. Little Mix continues to have a formidable showing with their Glory Days album, with biggest mover "Touch" up 62 spots from last week's debut to #29.
Additional noteworthy debuts come from The Veronicas ("On Your Side," #31) and Britney Spears featuring Tinashe ("Slumber Party," #38), while ten other new songs dot the lower half of the chart. BANKS, Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys featuring A$AP Rocky, and Carly Rae Jepsen also re-enter.
