After the first full week of 2017, Crownnote sees record numbers of users and songs this week, though The Weeknd continues to hold down the top spot with Daft Punk-featuring "Starboy," which notches its twelveth week at #1 and increases its total points by 25,000 over the previous week. Though it increased its own point total by 8,000 this week, "Rockabye" by Clean Bandit featuring Sean Paul and Anne-Marie settles for #2 once again. The Weeknd and Daft Punk's follow-up, "I Feel It Coming," holds at #3. Adele reaches a new peak at #4 as "Water Under The Bridge" rises three spots and 11,000 points. Bruno Mars rests at #5 with "24K Magic."
No new entries in the top ten this week: #6 is "Bad Things" by Machine Gun Kelly featuring Camila Cabello, dropping two; Lady Gaga's "Million Reasons" rebounds to #7. Little Mix stays at #8 with "Touch," followed by Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj with "Side To Side," which dips 6–9. Rebounding into the top ten is The Chainsmokers featuring Halsey, whose "Closer" slingshots back from #23 after previously making it as high as #4.
Two songs blast into the top twenty: Zara Larsson's "I Would Like" jumps 36 spots to #13 in its seventh week on the chart, while Louis Tomlinson (previously of One Direction) and Steve Aoki move up 40 to #15 with "Just Hold On." "Black Beatles" by Rae Sremmurd featuring Gucci Mane also re-enters the top twenty at #19, heading back toward its previous #12 peak.
Also showing upward momentum in the chart's upper half are Shakira featuring Maluma with "Chantaje" (46–28), the Ryan Riback remix of Starley's "Call On Me" (51–31), Emma's "Circle Of Light" (the week's biggest mover, up 55 from #92 to #37), Sean Paul featuring Dua Lipa with "No Lie" (58–39), and Bebe Rexha's "I Got You" (94–40).
Sia's Lion track "Never Give Up" re-enters at a new peak of #43, scoring a fifth week on the Crown 100. The top debut is MUNA's "I Know A Place," which enters at #48 and gives the trio their first Crown 100 single.
Jax Jones featuring Raye; The Weeknd; Alex Da Kid featuring X Ambassadors, Elle King, and Wiz Khalifa; Krewella; Dua Lipa; Carlos Vives and Shakira; and Naughty Boy featuring Kyla and Popcaan also debut this week.
