In only her second week on the chart, Katy Perry leaps to #1 with "Chained To The Rhythm" featuring Skip Marley, becoming the fourth Crown 100 leader yet and marking the first time a song has jumped from outside the top ten directly to #1. The chart-topper for the past five weeks, "Shape Of You" by Ed Sheeran, drops to #3, being passed (by fewer than 500 points!) by his own "Castle On The Hill," which holds at #2.
A distant near-80,000 points below "Shape Of You" is the week's #4 song, "Paris" by The Chainsmokers, which holds steady. At #5, ZAYN and Taylor Swift jump to a new peak with "I Don't Wanna Live Forever (Fifty Shades Darker)."
After peaking at #3, The Weeknd's "I Feel It Coming," featuring Daft Punk, falls out of the top five to #6. Jax Jones and Raye are steady at #7 with "You Don't Know Me," while "Rockabye" by Clean Bandit featuring Sean Paul and Anne-Marie drops to #8. Lady Gaga rebounds eight places to #9 with "Million Reasons" after a well-received Super Bowl performance and a top-five placement on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US. "Touch" by Little Mix is steady at #10.
Much of the songs between #11 and #20 experience slight position drops this week, though the Ryan Riback remix of Starley's "Call On Me" reaches a new peak of #12, as does Ariana Grande's Future-featuring "Everyday" at #15. Dua Lipa's "Be The One" also re-enters the top twenty.
A string of rising singles infiltrates the top thirty this week: Bruno Mars's "That's What I Like" (up 24 to #24), Lady Gaga's "John Wayne" (up 26 to #25), and Julia Michaels's "Issues" (up 8 to #26) all enter the top thirty. Marian Hill's "Down" looks to join them soon as the week's greatest gainer, moving up 48 spots after last week's debut to #31. (twenty one pilots's "Heavydirtysoul" just missed the honor, but moves up a hearty 47 positions to #46 this week.)
Anne-Marie's latest single "Ciao Adios" has the highest debut of the week at #33, beating out new Imagine Dragons single "Believer," which lands at #40.
