Dua Lipa, Imagine Dragons and Halsey make key moves while Paramore keeps #1.
Paramore earns a third week at #1 with "Hard Times", the lead single from their After Laughter album. It ties "Chained to The Rhythm" (#31 this week), "Be The One" (#14) and "Shape of You" (#33) for second longest reign of 2017, with only "Symphony" (up two to #6 this week) spending more time at the summit of the chart (four weeks).
Dua Lipa and Miguel jump two spots to #2. The track marks the first chart entry for Miguel, but Dua Lipa is no stranger to the chart, making a strong debut this year, including two number one hits ("Be The One" and Sean Paul's "No Lie"), and this week's top debut "New Rules" at #13.
"Castle on the Hill" and "Believer" follow at #3 and #4. Both tracks have spent a week atop the chart. Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj recover a spot with "Swish Swish" at #5. Perry also reaches a new peak with another Witness track, "Bon Appétit" featuring Migos, which cracks top 15 for the first time. "Swish" and "Believer" recovering means "Malibu" and "Galway Girl" get pushed out of the top 5, to #7 and #8 respectively. Miley has reached as high as #3, while "Galway" took Ed Sheeran to #2.
The top 10 ends with two new entries, as Imagine Dragons earns a second top 10 from Evolver with "Whatever it Takes" at #9, while Camila Cabello's first solo single "Crying in the Club" jumps four spots to #10.
Below top 10, Halsey and Lauren Jauregui jump 38 spots to #12 with "Strangers", while the aforementioned "New Rules" looks set to join them in the top 10 next week.
Dua Lipa also makes a strong showing below top ten, as two more tracks from her just-released self-titled album chart this week reaching new peaks: "Thinking 'Bout You" jumps to #38, while "Hotter Than Hell" goes to #23. "Hell" spent the previous twelve weeks in the lower half of the chart, never reaching higher than #29, but it already has a strong chance to outlive higher peaking songs like "No Lie" (14 weeks)
Last but not least, three high profile collaborations debut in the lower section: #41 is for DJ Khaled, Rihanna and Bryson Tiller with "Wild Thoughts", #42 finds Lana del Rey with The Weeknd in "Lust for Life" and "Feels" takes #44 for Calvin Harris, Katy Perry, Pharrell and Big Sean. "Feels" and "Wild Thoughts" are looking to jump into the top 15 next week, as this week's is the result of a single day of points (both were released on Friday).
