My Top 50 - 16/06/2019

"Never Really Over" tops chart for second week, ROSALÍA enters top 10.

Katy Perry gets a second week at the penthouse with "Never Really Over". The track is able to hold off "bad guy" by Billie Eilish, in spite of a bigger decrease. The tracks were neck and neck for most of the week, with Eilish's six week champion falling just short of Perry's hit. Perry's remix of "Con Calma" by Daddy Yankee also enters top 10 this week at #7, besting "Despacito" as Daddy Yankee's highest peak. Last but not least, Zedd's collaboration with Perry, "365" surges this week to #13, besting it's previous #15 after 18 weeks on the chart.

Eilish comes short of the top spot with "bad guy" but she also appears at #4 with "bellyache", which has reached #2 so far, and #5 with three time chart-topper "bury a friend". Her #1 hit "when the party's over" surges back up to #11 this week, while several other tracks from her discography also reach new peaks below the chart, including "wish you were gay" at #17.

Khalid's "Talk" continues it's movement towards the top of the chart, moving up one to a new #3 peak. Khalid's previous single "Better" returns to it's #25 peak for a second week. Mabel's "Don't Call Me Up" also moves up one spot to #6.

ROSALÍA enters top 10 for the first time with "Con Altura". The track is also El Guincho's first visit to the region, while J Balvin has visited before, most recently with David Guetta's "Say My Name" which also featured Bebe Rexha. ROSALÍA's follow-up single "Aute Cuture" moves up to #26 on it's second week.

Taylor Swift's #1 hit "ME!" moves down to #9 on it's eighth week. The next single from her album, announced to be titled Lover, is "You Need To Calm Down" which bubbles under this week but should start it's chart run inside top 15 next week. Shawn Mendes closes top 10 this week with his #3 peaking hit "If I Can't Have You".

Camila Cabello and Mark Ronson return to the top 20 with "Find U Again", which jumps 38-20 and earns Greatesty Gainer honors this week. Bebe Rexha and the Chainsmokers also enter top 40 with "Call You Mine" at #34. Ronson's collaborator Miley Cyrus also returns to the chart at #46 with her new single "Mother's Daughter".
