I think I'm gonna start using this as a diary of sorts when I have time. This past week has been interesting. I've had my first crush in over two years which is pretty cool. I feel like I can write a lot better now since I'm feeling emotion again. I actually forgot what it felt like to have a crush on somebody - forgot the sensation and that the body could even make that feeling! I don't think things are going too well in my favor, but at the same time I'm overthinking everything since it's my first interest in years. She's cute. I'll probably make songs with her and about her so no matter what I come out of this positively, even if my emotions get fucked up for a bit.

I think it's interesting how I'm going back to my old music tastes as well. I've recently gotten back into my Blonde-era interests alongside other experimental tracks in the vein of Blonde. I created a new playlist with these songs, ranging from Far Nearer to Time: The Donut of the Heart and beyond. I'm starting to think that time is running short on everything in life, so why waste time listening to anything but the best and most inspirational... I'm still listening to new music and recommendations from people but think I'm going to become comfortable with the style that I'm most inspired by which will be interesting for my charts. Normally around 10-20% of the tracks are retro, but recently it's been climbing. This week, only half of the tracks on my chart were even released this year!
