Ben's Chart - 2019-09-07

Loco Contigo spends it's second week at the top spot.

[Chart Highlights]

Loco Contigo keeps it's crown for a second week, while meeting new competitors such as Back To Life which creeps up 32 spots to #2 and Higher Love which rebounds 3 to #3. Previous #1, Beautiful People, which holds the record for the longest time spent at #1, remains at #4, as Heartless makes it Top 10 debut at #5, up 8. Beautiful People spends it's 10th consecutive week in the Top 5 region, becoming the first song to ever do so.

Taylor Swift's Lover album debuts two songs on the chart today, with the first at #7. The song shares the same name as the album, both titled Lover. The song wasn't predicted to chart in the only public predictions in last weeks chart, and made a rapid climb to #7. It will definitely climb in weeks to come! The album itself didn't impress too much, but was enough to debut an old song of hers, New Year's Day at #40. Taylor Swift's other album tracks debut outside the Top 40.

Power Over Me and Yo x Ti, Tu x Mi debut in the 20s.

Hello Ben!
Nice to see "Lover" debut in the top 10, "Take Me Back To London" re-enter in the top 10 as well and "Be Honest" reach the top 10!
I also like the debut for "Power Over Me" and the re-entries for "You Need To Calm Down" and "Panini"!
Great chart!

Hey Ben! :)
Sorry for the late comment, but better late than never.
It's cool seeing 'Loco Contigo' spend its second week at #1, but what I'm a lot happier about is that 'Lover' debuted inside the Top 10, since that was one of my favourite tracks from Taylor's new album too. It's a shame that you weren't really on board with the rest of the album outside of that & 'You Need To Calm Down', but at least she got a debut with 'New Year's Day' from 'Reputation'!
'Take Me Back To London' re-entering is okay, but I only like the original & not the remix.
Elsewhere, I really like the debut for 'Power Over Me' & the re-entry for 'Panini'!
Good chart as usual.
Hopefully you'll be able to check out my new one, which I'll upload at some time tomorrow!
Have a nice weekend.
