These are basically my 40 favourite songs! Updated weekly. The rule is that each song has to have been in either the Official UK Top 40 or the Vodafone Big Top 40. Enjoy!
This week is Selena Gomez & Marshmello's third at #1 with Wolves. Rita Ora returns to #2, and Kygo and Big Shaq reach new peaks. Rak-Su also debut at #10 with the version of Dimelo featuring Wyclef Jean and Naughty Boy created as their X Factor winners' single. Now i usually chart different versions of the same track seperately, but on this instance i've chosen to have this version replace the original, as it isnt on spotify or anything and there aren't great differences between the two anyway.
Clean Bandit climb to a new peak of #12 and Craig David to #17 with I Know You. Louis Tomlinson debuts at #18 with Miss You, and the first Christmas song re-entry of 2017 is Ariana Grande's Santa Tell Me at #19. She previously peaked at #8 in 2016. Wham! re-enter at #24 with Last Christmas, and Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You re-enters at #26. The two peaked at #14 and #10 respectively last year, meaning Last Christmas has gone from my third favourite Christmas song last year to my second this year.
Rak-Su enter for a second time with I'm Feeling You at #27, and the Beyonce remix of Perfect enters at #34. The final of four Christmas song re-entries this week is The Pogues & Kirsty MacColl's Fairytale Of New York at #37. They peaked at #19 last year with the track.
That's about it for this week, expect a few more Christmas song re-entries next week! :D

Hey Piran! I'm glad you liked my chart, climbers and all my debuts! well, with Anywhere, its gonna stay up there a while, but I doubt it'll get to the top spot unfortunately. It's only real chance was these last few weeks, but Wolves just managed to beat it.
yeah, next week will see a few more Christmas song entries, then i'm sure some more on the Christmas chart next week!
next chart tomorrow, and from then on back to Fridays like normal! i'm actually so happy I'm about to finally do this! :D
Great to see 'Wolves' get yet another week at #1!
How long has 'Know No Better' spent in the Top 10 on your chart? It's been there for all of the charts I've seen, if I'm remembering correctly!
There aren't many of your debuts that I'm a big fan of this week. I'd rate them: 'Dimelo' (68/100), 'Miss You' (71/100), 'Santa Tell Me' (64/100), 'Last Christmas' (76/100), 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' (53/100), 'I'm Feeling You' (64/100), 'Perfect Duet' (61/100) & 'Fairytale of New York' (86/100).
It's great to see 'Anywhere', 'Man's Not Hot', 'I Miss You', 'I Know You' & 'Decline' climbing in this week's chart!
I'm going to make a wild guess and say that 'Never Be The Same' will debut straight in at #1 on next week's chart. It charted on the Big Top 40 at #34 on its first week, and (SPOILERS for this week's Big Top 40, if you haven't seen it yet) shot up to #14 (iirc) this week, so it's eligible for your chart next week. :)
Another great chart this week, and I look forward to the next one! :D
Hey GamesKiller01! well, Know No Better has spent every week since its release in my top 7! it started at #4 where it stayed a few weeks, then climbed to #1 where it stayed 6 weeks, then its stuck around ever since! I'm pretty sure it's one of my biggest songs of 2017! :)
well, that's a pretty wild guess given how much ive been going on about it... ;)
youll find out soon given I'm about to do my chart! :)
btw what does 'iirc' mean? ;) speak to you soon and hope you have a good week!
'Know No Better' is one of my favourite songs of the year as well, so it's great to see that it's done so well on your charts!
I look forward to your next chart and I'm intrigued to see whether 'Never Be The Same' can debut straight in at #1!
'iirc' means 'If I Recall/Remember Correctly'.
I'm pleased that you're very nearly up to date & that you're at the stage where you're just one week from catching up! :)
As for this week's chart, it's good to see 'Wolves' get another week at #1, but I'd love to see 'Anywhere' become your next chart leader.
I'm also happy that 'Stargazing' & 'Man's Not Hot' continued their gains on your chart!
Here's my rating of your debuts: 'Dimelo' (8/10), 'Miss You' (7/10), 'Santa Tell Me' (8/10), 'Last Christmas' (10/10), 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' (9/10), 'I'm Feeling You' (7/10), 'Perfect Duet' (9/10) & 'Fairytale Of New York' (9/10), so an amazing set of debuts today.
Impressive chart once again. See you soon!
