These are basically my 40 favourite songs! Updated weekly. The rule is that each song has to have been in either the Official UK Top 40 or the Vodafone Big Top 40. Enjoy!
In my final chart of 2017, Camila Cabello gets her third week at the top with Never Be The Same. INDIIA and Whitney Phillips climb back into the top 3, and Kygo returns to the top 6. Big Shaq's Man's Not Hot reaches a new peak of #7, and NF climbs 9 to #8 with Let You Down, reaching the top 10 for the first time. PRETTYMUCH and Ramz also reach the top 10 for the first time, climbing three and ten places respectively.
There are many high climbers and re-entries, with MK and Jax Jones reaching new peaks in the top 20. Eminem and Ed Sheeran climb 11 to #21, and the highest re-entry of the week is Dave and MoStack at #23 with No Words, reaching a new peak with the track. Matt Terry is this week's highest climber, gaining 13 places to #27 with Sucker For You. There are many re-entries in the aftermath of the Christmas takeover: Avicii (twice), Raye, MGK & Camila Cabello, Louis Tomlinson, Craig David, Post Malone, Luis Fonci & Demi Lovato and CNCO & Little Mix also get back in the top 40. There is only one new entry this week: Beautiful Trauma by P!nk.
Six Christmas songs remain however, so next week will see more re-entries. My year-end chart of 2017 will be up at some point in the first week of 2018, as I always start calculating it on January 1st! :D
Breakers:
Real Friends- Camila Cabello, (Not) The One- Bebe Rexha and Let Me Go- Hailee Steinfeld ft. Florida Georgia Line & Watt.
Dropouts: Not doing dropouts this week, as all are Christmas songs. :)

Good chart Calum! :)
I really like seeing 'Never Be The Same' still at #1, as well as: 'Stargazing', 'Man's Not Hot' & 'Let You Down' all hitting new peaks inside the Top 10.
All of your re-entries are fine & the debut for 'Beautiful Trauma' is cool too!
I just uploaded a new chart, so hopefully you can check that out.
See you soon & Happy New Year for Monday!

Yeah, I did mean 'Man's Not Hot', haha! I don't know why I said 'New Year's Day'... probably because I'm excited for tomorrow & I've been listening to the Taylor Swift song of the same name today.
I look forward to seeing your Chart Of The Year next week!

Hey Calum, it's awesome seeing NBTS at #1 for its first 3 weeks on your chart. Has it ever happened before? I like seeing Let You Down and Barking reaching the top 10 as well as 17 and Breathe reaching the top 20. I like most of your re-entries this week as a result of Christmas songs going out, so let me rate them: Without You (7/10), Lonely Together (9/10), Decline (7/10), Bad Things (8/10), Miss You (4/10), Rockstar (6/10), Échame La Culpa (6/10) and Reggaeton Lento (8/10). I like seeing Beautiful Trauma (7/10) re-entering too!

Hey Ines! yeah, I have had songs enter at #1 and stay there before, like Say You Do, AIMH (Flex) and Bad Things, but the former had pre-release radio airplay and the latter two were released a couple of months before charting in the UK, so had time to grow on me. I think NBTS is the first song ever to become my favourite song within its first week of my hearing it! tbh, it became my favourite song within a day of listening to it on repeat!
yeah, ill have many more re-entries next week, more likely to be some of my top hits of the year. and my year-end chart may be up on the 3rd or 4th! :D

I love AIMH, it's such an easy going track! Bad Things isn't bad too, but I don't know Say You Do. Oh really? Liking a song on its first day is something that happens a lot to me. Usually, the first tracking week of a song on my chart is its strongest, then it starts to fade away as the hype goes by. Ok, tell us in the group when it's out!

Sometimes a song performs best on its first week, but only if I get bored of it quickly. and it is very rare to see a first week peak in the top 10, especially top 5. songs in the upper regions tend to take a few weeks to grow on me, and to replace the previous top-placed songs. ill be sure to message when it's up, and ill get over to your year-end chart now! :)

I love seeing 'Never Be The Same' at #1 again and 'Havana' staying in the Top 5! It's also great to see 'Wolves' stay at #2 and the huge climbs for 'Let You Down', 'Barking', '17' and 'River'. Great to see 'Let You Down' finally hit the Top 10 with its climb.
I also love seeing the re-entries this week for 'No Words', 'Decline', 'Bad Things' and 'rockstar'. All 4 of those songs made it into my Top 100 songs of the year on CrownNote! :D
This is a really good chart once again! :D
