Tom Walker has proven he is able to get a personal chart Number 1 without even hitting the top 100 this week on the official chart, with high streams and a high rating, "Better Half Of Me" becomes Tom's 3rd Number 1, after his record breaking 6 week Number 1 and biggest single of 2018 "Leave A Light On" (2018) and a single week Number 1 "Just You And I" (2019). Funnily enough he actually stopped Tones And I from equally his record breaking 6 week number 1 "Leave A Light On" which still remains the highest ammount of weeks - timed number 1.
(Timed Charts run from January 2011 - present as these charts were revealed and compiled on week of the chart date. Whereas Untimed number 1's run before 2011 as these are charts that are revealed and compiled after that date (Coming Soon)).
"Dance Monkey" by Tones And I falls to Number 2 after spending a consectutive 5 weeks at number 1, however it definitely has a chance to return to the top spot in the next few weeks as the song continues to gain popularity all over the UK.
There are also big new entries from Dan + Shay/Justin Bieber and James Blunt at number 3 and number 4 this week. "10,000 hours" gets Justin his 7th Top 3 single, after getting his 6th earlier this year with Ed Sheeran with "I Dont Care". James Blunt enters at Number 4 with his 2nd single from his upcoming album - Once Upon A Mind with the single "Champions" which is also this weeks most streamed song. This means that James Blunt has had 4 weeks this year at the top of the streaming chart after "Cold" spent 3 weeks at number 1 last month.
"Outnumbered" by Dermot Kennedy which surprisingly is the only song from his debut album - Without Fear to be in this weeks top 20, climbing 5 places to Number 6. Another big climber this week is Riton at Number 7 with club hit "Turn Me On"
Other big entries this week inside the top 20 are Niall Horan at Number 8 and BBC Children In Need single by Jodie Whittaker at Number 12.
MIKA gets 2 songs from his new album - My Name Is Michael Holbrook inside the top 20 this week, MIKA also gets a 3rd single inside the top 20, previously released in 2007 - "Happy Ending" after this song was played on Britains Got Talent: The Champions on 4th October 2019.
Next week could see new entries from James Arthur, James Blunt, Cher Lloyd, Kylie Minogue and also songs that are performed on X Factor: Celebrity could also enter.
