It’s another close week this week, with Olivia Rodrigo just scraping ahead to grab a 4th #1 single with ‘pretty isn’t pretty’. Tate McRae was so close but a boost in streams after I managed to get GUTS tour tickets gave Olivia the lead. She also jumps to #3 with mega bop ‘get him back!’. Baby Queen slips to #4 after topping the chart last week, and Lana is new at #5 with Born To Die era single ‘National Anthem’ due to its recent tiktok vitality! At #6 is another new one for hyper pop star HYRA. Now I first heard this song teased in 2021 and was obsessed and would periodically check to see if it came out, but it was always different songs she was releasing. On Friday, however, I was surprised to see ‘Dirty Bitch’ finally released, and it goes straight in at #6! Doja Cat climbs 14 with smash ‘Paint The Town Red’ boosted by a CD single, while falling tracks from Caity Baser and Maren Morris are at #8 and #9. #10 is a big climber for breakout star Kenya Grace, as her viral bop ‘Strangers’ jumps 21 spots to the top 10. Its the tied highest climber of the week with The National ft. Phoebe Bridgers' new collab 'Laugh Track' climbing #40-#19.

Further down, Dylan enters at #14 with rock-infused 'Rebel Child' while SKYLAR debuts at #17 with 'Why Men Love Bitches'. It joins songs 'all american bitch' and 'Dirty Bitch' to mark a first ever feat of 3 songs charting with said word, which is quite funny to me! SKYLAR's other track with AC13 and piri 'Crocodile Tears' also climbs to the top 20 at #20 this week giving SKYLAR a 5th top 20! Doja Cat doesn't make much noise with her album 'Scarlet', but 2nd single 'Agora Hills' does enter at #23 this week. Kylie's album 'Tension' makes a bit more noise with 'Padam Padam' re-entering at #27 and album tracks 'One More Time', 'Vegas High' and 'Things We Do For Love' debuting. There are entries for Zach Bryan as 2 songs from his new ep chart; 'Boys Of Faith' featuring Bon Iver at #37 and 'Sarah's Place' featuring Noah Kahan at #45. Almost done... Katy Perry's 'Harleys in Hawaii' recieves virality causing it to debut at #33, Cate opens at #36 with 'One Hit Wonder' and finally to celebrate the start of Autumn, 'All Too Well' is back at #48.

Great to see Olivia continuing to top the charts with more tracks from 'GUTS', especially "pretty isn't pretty", always thought that would be the track people would dislike the most, despite it being one of my favourites.
