Ghost hold at #1 for a 4th week with 'Mary On A Cross', tying Kate Bush's 'Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)' as the longest running #1 of 2022! Sam Smith & Kim Petras are still at #2, while Lewis Capaldi and Dermot Kennedy both climb back up by 1 to #3 and #4 respectively. 'Send My Love To John' drops to #5. Nicki Minaj continues her upwards ascent to the top 5, up 1 to #6. 'Hold The Girl' from Rina Sawayama is at #7. Baby Queen earns herself a 4th Top 10 as 'LAZY' enters at #8.

Further down the chart there are new entries from Tate McRae with 'uh oh' at #17, Selena Gomez' 'People You Know' at #45, We Are Domi's 'Come Get Lost# at #47 and Ed Sheerans 'Celestial' at #48. There are also big climbs for Cate with 'The Ruler', up 15 spots to #20, and a 14 spot climb for Tate's 'she's all i wanna be' at #36, and Rema & Selena Gomez's collab 'Calm Down' re-enters at #44.

Next week, expect a huge shakeup in the chart because there are loads of new entries from the likes of Mimi Webb, Cat Burns, Dermot Kennedy, Maneskin and Maisie Peters. Mimi so far has 3 Top 3 hits to her name, can she do one better and get a #1 with 'Ghost Of You'? Cat Burns' 'go' is one of this years biggest hits, can her double-single release match that success? Dermot Kennedy recently got a 2nd #1 with 'Kiss Me', can he repeat that? Maneskin's 'I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE' was one of the biggest hits of 2021 on my chart despite never hitting #1, can they get their first #1 next week?! And, of course, Maisie Peters wants to get herself a 6th #1 with 'Not Another Rockstar'. If she makes it, she will beat Taylor Swift as the artist with most #1s, and match her record of most #1s in a year, with 4 #1s this year. Next weeks chart will be interesting!

Yep, it is a good week for Tate! uh oh is definitely her weakest single release of the year though so I doubt it will make it much higher I'm afraid. and yeah she's all i wanna be still going strong, not sure if it'll survive the Taylor bomb soon though.

Calm Down and especially Come Get Lost should climb next week, but Celestial might drop out.
