Its a big re-entry at the top for Taylor. After becoming Spotify's Top Artist globally, as well as many people's #1 on spotify wrapped (mine included obvs) she finally dropped the heartbreaking 'You're Losing Me' to streaming. Now i had a secret download file which is what i listened to, allowing it to chart decently already, but its now on Spotify so it had major streams, causing it to re-enter at the top spot for a 2nd week at this peak, becoming the longest gap between times at #1, previously held by Mimi Webb with Last Train to London, topping the charts in March, and then again in May!
Following the tragic passing of singer Shane MacGowan, christmas classic 'Fairytale of New York' shoots up 17 spots to this weeks runner up. 'Say Don't Go' is at #3, 'cowboy like me' at #4 and 'Obvious' at #5. These three barricade the top 5 from a flurry of christmas songs. Wham are at #6, Maisie holds at #7, and Taylor and Mimi both climb to #8 and #9 with their festive offerings! Tate's 'exes' rounds off the top 10, but how big will her album impact be next week?!
Further down, theres plenty more christmas including all the songs from Sabrina Carpenter's festive ep 'fruitcake', the highest being 'Santa doesn't know you like i do' at #14. There is also entries for Lana Del Rey with her cover of 'Country Roads Take Me Home' at #26, Zara Larsson's 'Memory Lane' at #29, Noah Kahan with Gracie Abrams on 'Everywhere Everything' at #40, and Kenya Grace with 'paris' at #45.
Next week expect more christmas takeover, plus (probably) the last album bomb of the year as Tate McRae drops 'THINK LATER'!

Hi Piran!
Youre Losing Me is facing big competition from Tate McRae. FONY is still a challenger over the coming weeks, and expect more xmas songs, and paris in the new year!

Hi Sergej!
Glad you like You're Losing Me at the top, but it'll face competition from Tate McRae next week! Memory lane and paris may drop out, but look like they could be new years hits!

Hey Conor,
I expected "You're Losing Me" to return to #1! Well deserved and thrilled that Taylor has managed to dominate throughout this year on your charts.
Very happy with the "Everywhere, Everything" debut! I still need to listen to Sabrina Carpenter's new Christmas LP!
Great chart!

Hey Conor! :)
Glad to see 'You're Losing Me (FTV)' re-enter at the top of the chart, along with 'Fairytale Of New York' moving into the runner-up position.
I also like the return of 'Underneath The Tree' & the debut for 'Paris'!
Good chart yet again.
Take care!
