My Favourite Songs, Albums and Artists of All Time: https://crownnote.com/charts/gameskiller01/my-favourite-songs-of-all-time

Top albums of the week:

1) Alan Walker - 'Different World' (Debut)
2) Rita Ora - 'Phoenix' (-1)
3) Post Malone - 'beerbongs & bentleys' (-1)
4) Post Malone - 'Stoney' (=)
5) Clean Bandit - 'What Is Love?' (-2)

After 6 weeks at #1, Lauren Jauregui's 'Expectations' gets knocked down to #2 as Kygo's 'Happy Now' ascends to #1 with a 2 place climb. The song has been climbing ever since it first debuted, and is now on its 8th week on the chart. This makes it the song to take the joint 4th longest to reach #1. It's tied with Post Malone's '92 Explorer', Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello's 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' and Camila's 'Crown', and is behind Camila's 'Crying In The Club' with 9 weeks, Tiësto, Dzeko, Preme & Post's 'Jackie Chan' with 10 weeks and Post's 'Better Now' with 12 weeks. Worth noting is that 'Crown' reached #1 25 weeks after release, but only on its 8th week on the chart due to it re-entering at #1 after originally spending 7 weeks on the chart. It also stops 'Expectations' from passing 'Havana's 8 non-consecutive weeks and 'God is a woman's 9 consecutive weeks and leaves it as the 3rd longest-running #1 ever with 6 consecutive weeks.

Nina Nesbitt takes a jump into the Top 3 as 'Colder' climbs 3 places, easily her highest charting track ever. This could very well be #1 in the coming weeks! Ariana is at #4 and #5 as 'thank u, next' drops 2 to #4 after 5 consecutive weeks at #2, and 'God is a woman' spends a 22nd consecutive week in the Top 5 as it drops 1 to #5. Alan Walker starts his domination with his new album 'Different World', which debuts straight at #1 on the albums chart, as 'Sing Me to Sleep' is the highest debut of the week, new at #7. He also debuts at #8 with 'Lost Control', as well as at #11, #15, #20, #28, #30, #35, #39 and #40, giving him a total of 10 entries on the chart this week, making 'Different World' just the 6th album to chart 10 simultaneous songs. The previous albums to do so are, in chronological order: 'Camila' (10), 'beerbongs & bentleys' (17), 'Kamikaze' (11), 'YSIV' (12) & 'Phoenix' (10).

Skepta's 'Neighbourhood Watch' continues on its climb, up 2 places to #10 this week, becoming his 1st Top 10 and preventing Alan Walker from having 3 simultaneous Top 10s as it just outpaces 'Different World' at #11. The highest non-Alan Walker debut comes from MJ Cole & Freya Ridings with 'Waking Up', which is new at #17. This is both artist's 1st Top 40 hits, after Freya's 'Lost Without You' narrowly missed out on making the chart. At #21 'Should've Known Better' reaches a new peak, up 2 places, while Ariana Grande has her 8th chart entry with 'imagine', new at #23. The Chainsmokers have a new entry with 'Hope' at #31, while the final non-Alan Walker entry comes from ZAYN with 'There You Are' at #36.

Thanks for reading everyone! :D

Hey Gameskiller! :)
It's good to see your back posting charts after being off here for a few weeks.
I love that 'Happy Now' took the #1 spot, as well as Alan Walker flooding your list & just the takeover for dance music in general!
I look forward to your next chart & I hope you have a Merry Christmas.

Hey Piran! I'm just glad I can see your comment, since I couldn't see the comments on the last couple of charts I posted, even when you told me you'd commented over on Disqus. 'Happy Now' has been doing really great for me over the past month or 2, and it finally managed to grab the top spot this week. I think this'll be its only week at #1, though, since 'Colder' is also doing really well and 'all my friends' has increased massively since Friday and is now a definite contender for #1. Alan Walker's album did quite a lot better than I expected, considering I didn't even know it was coming out! It may even be in my Top 10 albums of 2018. Merry Christmas to you too! :D
