Hey CoolOcelot! That's unfortunate that you're not the biggest fan of 'Own It', since it's just gotten the strongest week for any #1 single since 'She Loves Control' almost 2 years ago! If nothing from Camila's 2nd album can reach the same kind of heights as 'She Loves Control', then 'Own It' is all but guaranteed to be my #1 until the end of the year at least! 'Body Back' will definitely be making a big climb next week, as will 'Before You Go' and 'ROXANNE' - all 3 have the chance to go Top 10! 'Dance Monkey' should climb as well, 'Vossi Bop' should remain fairly stable, but 'Antisocial' might fall back a bit. Thanks for the comment! :D
Hello Gameskiller!
I Like "Own It", so good to see it at #1! Also nice to see "Antisocial" return to the top 10
Also nice to see a Nina Nesbitt and Lewis Capaldi takeover!
Other than that, great to see "Body Back" debut (I heard this recently and it's great), let me guess you discovered it because of Piran like me, right?
Either way, great chart, would love to hear your opinions on my own chart that I've recently uploaded, if you have the time!
Have a great weekend!
Hey Sergej! Glad to hear you like 'Own It', since it's an incredibly strong #1 for me. If nothing from 'Romance' is able to dethrone it the week after next, I can see 'Own It' easily remaining at #1 until the end of the year, if not longer! 'Antisocial' will probably fall back a bit next week, but I think there's a reasonably good chance of another of Ed's tracks replacing it in the Top 10 - I'll leave it to you to figure out which one, or wait until next week to find out. Nina Nesbitt and Lewis Capaldi re-releasing their albums did very well for them on my charts, but I think they'll both fall back a little bit next week, other than a few of their tracks. Haha yep, I first heard 'Body Back' after seeing at #1 on Piran's charts, but, as the predictions show, it's got a very good chance of reaching the Top 10 next week for me as well! Thanks for the comment! :D
Hey Gameskiller! :)
I don't mind seeing 'Own It' debut straight in at #1, although I have to be honest, I was also slightly underwhelmed by it given the artists on the song.
That being said, 'Vossi Bop' actually climbing inside the Top 5 is much better & I honestly think this is the biggest contender to be your Christmas #1 right now, for reasons we discussed on OCC last week!
Lower down, it's cool that 'Antisocial' returned to the Top 10 once again, but the best thing about this chart by a mile is the debut for 'Body Back', especially considering it's set to go Top 10 next week! All three Lewis Capaldi debuts are also impressive.
It's also not bad seeing Nina Nesbitt score a lot of re-entries, thanks to the re-release of her newest album!
Nice chart once again! Have an awesome weekend.
Hey Piran! That's unfortunate to hear that you were underwhelmed by 'Own It', given how ridiculously well it did for me this week. It had the strongest week for any song on my charts since 'She Loves Control' debuted at #1 almost 2 years ago, and if nothing from 'Romance' can reach the same kind of heights as 'She Loves Control' I can very easily see 'Own It' remaining at #1 until the end of the year and beyond! 'Vossi Bop' should remain fairly stable next week, though I don't think it'll be my Christmas #1 given the insane success of 'Own It' (and potential insane success of 1 or more 'Romance' tracks). I do think it has a good chance of being Christmas #2, though! 'Antisocial' will probably fall back next week, but I think there's a good chance of another of Ed's tracks replacing it in the Top 10 - I'll let you guess which one, or wait until next week to find out! I'm very glad you had 'Body Back' as your #1, since that led me to listening to it and I'm really liking it! I'd say it even has a good chance of outperforming that #6 prediction next week! Both 'Let It Roll' and, to a lesser degree, 'Before You Go' have a good chance of reaching Top 10 next week as well, though most of Nina's tracks will probably fall back. Thanks for the comment! :D
Hey Gameskiller! As I assumed, I'm liking your chart a lot! :D "Own It" at the top is obviously amazing to see, as you know, and on that note, that's a lot of Stormzy in the top 10, haha! I did enjoy "Wiley Flow" and "Sounds of the Skeng", especially the former, unfortunately, I didn't really care for "Vossi Bop" that much. Anyway, Dave at #2 is also pretty cool, not his best for me, but it's still a good song! "Lauren" also in the top 10 is pretty cool, I'm trying to get into the song currently but I'm not sure I like it as much as Deno's other work. Further down, I obviously love that "God Is A Dancer" is still so high, as well as the debut for "Before You Go". And finally, I couldn't resist mentioning this, "Question Time" by Dave, one of my all-time favorites of his, is amazing to see, despite the massive drop. Once again, amazing chart! :D
Hey Akyovbashiev! Glad to hear you're liking the chart so much! 'Own It' will almost certainly have a very good run at #1 given how much I like it; if nothing from Camila's 'Romance' can dethrone it next Friday, I can very easily see 'Own It' remaining at #1 until the end of the year and beyond! Yeah, I've really liked all of Stormzy's tracks from 'Heavy Is The Head' so far, which should be pretty clear given that he's got 4 of the Top 5 this week! I think both 'Sounds Of The Skeng' and 'Vossi Bop' will remain stable next week, but 'Wiley Flow' will probably fall back a bit, unfortunately. I don't think 'Paper Cuts' is Dave's best track either, but I am still very much a fan, and it became his 5th #1 on my charts last week! 'God Is A Dancer' will probably start falling a bit faster now, but it still had a very good run, which included reaching #1! 'Before You Go' will almost certainly be making a massive climb in my next chart, and I absolutely agree that 'Question Time' is one of Dave's best tracks! Thanks for the comment! :D
Hey Gameskiller! I'm indifferent on Own It going to #1, but further down, I adore that debut for Body Back! Another debut I really like is Before You Go. I love that massive gain for Roxanne as well as other climbs for Dance Monkey, Vossi Bop and Antisocial. Nice chart again!
