My Favourite Songs and Albums of 2018: https://crownnote.com/charts/gameskiller01/my-favourite-songs-of-2018

Top albums of the week:

1) Post Malone - 'beerbongs & bentleys' (+3)
2) 21 Savage - 'i am > i was' (-1)
3) Alan Walker - 'Different World' (-1)
4) Rita Ora - 'Phoenix' (-1)
5) Post Malone - 'Stoney' (=)

After edging ever closer for the past few weeks, Nina Nesbitt's 'Colder' finally reaches #1 on its 5th week on the chart, becoming her 1st #1. It pushes last week's #1, 'all my friends', down to #2. The highest climber of the week comes from Post Malone's 'Wow.' with a 7 place climb to #3. This becomes Post's 8th Top 3 hit, following his 5 #1s, his #2 peak on 'rockstar' and his #3 debut and peak on 'Sunflower', and his 9th Top 5 hit following his #5 peak on 'Blame It On Me'. At #5 'God is a woman' spends a record-extending 24th consecutive week in the Top 5, just 2 weeks short of managing an insane half a year in the region, and at #7 Ariana sees another entry as 'Quit' re-enters. The track has previously spent 2 non-consecutive weeks at #1, and gets its 20th non-consecutive week on the chart this week. It returns to the Top 10 for the first time since 29th September, 2017, well over a year ago.

Not much else exciting happens this week, as there isn't even a single debut this week. At #20 Ariana Grande's 'imagine' climbs 1 to make the Top 20, her 7th entry in the region (the other 6 have all been Top 4 hits). At #24 Rita Ora's 'Your Song' climbs 4 places to a new peak after re-entering last week, while directly underneath at #25 Post's '92 Explorer' rebounds 6 places. Parent album 'beerbongs & bentleys' also climbs 3 places on the album chart for a 22nd non-consecutive week at #1. Camila Cabello's 'She Loves Control' climbs 6 to #30 on its 51st week on the chart - just 1 more week until it becomes the 3rd track to manage a full year on the chart! The other 2 tracks to manage it are 'rockstar' and 'Bloodstream', the former of which climbs 3 places to #35 on its 65th week and the latter of which climbs 2 places to #37 on its 86th week.

Thanks for reading everyone! :D

Hello Gameskiller01!
Nice to see "Colder" reaching #1 and the debut for "Wow".!
"Wow" has been growing on me lately, so nice to see it debut here!
Great chart!

Hey Sergej! 'Colder' definitely has some tough competition for #1 next week, but it was definitely deserving of #1 this week! It's been on the rise for quite a few weeks and it finally managed to get #1 this week. 'Wow.' may reach higher, but I don't think it will progress past #3, unfortunately. It should stick around in the Top 10 for quite a while, though! Thanks for the comment! :D

Hey Gameskiller! :)
I actually haven't heard your #1 yet, but I love seeing 'Quit' re-enter in the Top 10! Any particular reason as to why it came back after all this time?
The rest of your chart is relatively quiet this week, but I do like 'Wow' being your greatest gainer.
As for the predictions, it's cool to see 'God Is A Woman' go back to the top!
Have a good week.

Hey Piran! I definitely recommend listening to 'Colder' - it's a really great, catchy pop song that grows on you with every listen! It first debuted at #16 for me, but then shot up to #6 the next week and has been climbing ever since to finally reach #1 this week. 'Quit' re-entered so high after all this time mostly because of my 'Favourite Songs of 2018' and 'Favourite Songs of All Time' playlists. In the former Ariana has 3 entries, and in the latter 'Quit' is at #8, and after I heard 'Quit' for the first time in a while I just had it on repeat. Similarly, all of Ariana's songs are set to gain so much in the next chart for pretty much the same reason. 'Wow.' does have a small chance of going higher than #3, but I think it will most likely just bounce around lower in the Top 10 for a few week. By the way, I recently uploaded my chart for 2018 (linked at the top of this chart and in the 'charts' group chat), so I'd love if you could check that out when you get the chance. Thanks for the comment! :D

So I just heard 'Colder'... I thought it was a good song anyway with the verses, but you're so right about the hook being catchy! I see this growing on me too, but even after the first listen I can tell that this'll impact my personal chart as soon as I next post one, but we'll see how high over the weekend!
Of course I'll check out your chart of 2018. :)
