My Favourite Songs, Albums and Artists of All Time: https://crownnote.com/charts/gameskiller01/my-favourite-songs-of-all-time
Top albums of the week:
1) Rita Ora - 'Phoenix' (=)
2) Clean Bandit - 'What Is Love?' (Debut)
3) Post Malone - 'beerbongs & bentleys' (-1)
4) Post Malone - 'Stoney' (-1)
5) Eminem - 'Kamikaze' (-1)
'Expectations' is now the sole 2nd longest running consecutive #1, and 3rd non-consecutive, as the Lauren Jauregui track spends a 5th consecutive week at #1. It beats out Camila Cabello's 'She Loves Control' and Marshmello & Anne-Marie's 'FRIENDS', which spent 4 consecutive weeks at #1, while it lags behind 'Havana', with 8 non-consecutive weeks at #1, 4 of which were consecutive, and 'God is a woman', with 9 consecutive weeks. Since there's no move at #2 or #3 it makes for the 4th consecutive week with a completely static Top 3, a new record on my charts! 'God is a woman' also spends a 20th consecutive week in the Top 3, beating out 'Havana's record 19 non-consecutive weeks in the Top 5 without ever leaving the Top 3! Kygo's 'Happy Now' reaches yet another new peak as it climbs 1 to #4, as does Ava Max's 'Sweet but Psycho' which climbs 3 places to #5. The highest debut of the week comes from Jax Jones and Years & Years as 'Play' enters at #7, becoming both artist's 2nd Top 10 hit, while Charli XCX's '1999' climbs 3 places to #9, becoming her 1st Top 10 and featured artist Troye Sivan's 2nd.
Just outside of the Top 10, Rita Ora's 'Hell of a Life' climbs 2 places to #11 after debuting last week after the release of 'Phoenix', and most other tracks from the album climb as well. In fact, not a single of the 10 songs from the album drops out this week! 'New Look' climbs 1 to #18, 'Only Want You' climbs 2 to #20, 'Anywhere' climbs 2 to #36 and 'Your Song' is the highest climber of the week, up 4 to #35. 'Phoenix' itself spends a 2nd consecutive week at #1 on the albums chart. At #14 Skepta's 'Neighbourhood Watch' climbs 1 to a new peak, while the 2nd highest debut of the week comes from Nina Nesbitt with her 2nd chart entry 'Colder', new at #16.
At #19 is the 1st of a few entries for Clean Bandit's new album 'What Is Love?', and it's actually a re-entry! 'Rockabye' previously reached a peak of #18 following the release of Anne-Marie's 'Speak Your Mind'. Close behind at #21 and #22 are 'Mama' featuring Ellie Goulding and 'Should've Known Better' featuring Anne-Marie yet again! Rita Ora logs her 11th chart entry, all of which are on the chart this week, as Clean Bandit's 'Nowhere' debuts at #34. Their last entry is also a re-entry; 'Tears' featuring Louisa is back at #40. Finally, 'Ruin My Life' by Zara Larsson continues on its slow ascent of the chart, up another 2 places this week to a new peak of #31 after spending 3 consecutive weeks at #40, the only song to ever spend that long at the very bottom of the chart without dropping out.
Thanks for reading everyone! :D
