MWC - October 19, 2022 Fly By Midnight

Fly By Midnight scores their first number one in chart history with "In The Night." The song moves one spot to #1, becoming the third group in a row to claim the top spot in 2022 after BLACKPINK and IVE. Fly By Midnight debuted back in 2018 with "Just Say It", and after a string of top fives and top tens for the past three years, the group finally makes their climb to the top of the countdown. IVE's "LOVE DIVE" drops one spot to #2 while "After LIKE" remains at #3 for a second week. The Chainsmokers are stable at #4 with "I Love U" and the group's "Time Bomb" rejoins the top five, rising one spot to #5. 

Rina Sawayama's "Frankenstein" jumps two spots to #6. BLACKPINK drops two spots to #7 with "Pink Venom." Rina Sawayama's "Hold The Girl" falls one spot to #8. Sam Hunt enters the top 10 for the first time in over two years with "23" rising three spots to #9. Fly By Midnight rounds out the top 10 this week as "Dance" drops one spot to #10. 

Outside of the top 10, IVE's "ELVEN" earns a new peak of #12. Rina Sawayama's "Holy (Til You Let Me Go)" rises to #14. Shaina Twain's "Waking Up Dreaming" enters the top 15 at #15. NewJeans claims the biggest jump of the week with "Hype Boy" vualting 31-20. Paramore's "This Is Why" rises eight spots to a new peak of #25. 

In miscellanous news, LEON notches a historic 212 conecutive weeks charting on the countdown; she ties with Ariana Grande for the artist with the most consecutive weeks charting.
