Chart

Billboard Hot 30

In Week Thirty, "Lucid Dreams" fends off competition by Post Malone in order to stay at the top spot on the chart. "Lucid Dreams", an enduring hit by Juice WRLD, maintains a large showing in both streaming and airplay numbers and commands the top of the chart in its eighteenth week on the chart. Likewise in its eighteenth week, "Better Now" by Post Malone struts one to the runner-up spot. Both songs look prime to fight for the top spot next week as "Better Now" rises at a faster rate in radio airplay than "Lucid Dreams", but "Lucid Dreams" still shows an impressive amount of streaming numbers. Another eighteen week song, "Love Lies" by Khalid and Normani ticks one spot up to a new peak of number four as its pop and rhytmic airplay continues to gain in numbers. At number six, "I Love It" by Kanye West and Lil Pump featuring Adele Givens debuts off of streaming numbers after its official music video went viral. Lil Pump and Adele Givens score their first song on the chart while Kanye West continues his chart history after his last album "ye" sent songs to the chart. Although one song debuts above them, "Fefe" by 6ix9ine featuring Nicki Minaj and Murda Beatz and "Back To You" by Selena Gomez maintains their showing from last week at numbers seven and ten, respectively. In between the two is previous leader two week leader "I Like It" by Cardi B featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin, down two spots, and Tyga featuring Offset with "Taste", down one spot to number nine, the first time "Taste" has ever taken a backwards step down. "No Brainer" by DJ Khaled featuring Justin Bieber, Quavo, and Chance The Rapper knocks on the doorstep of the top ten at number eleven and if it enters the top ten, it would be its third stint at the top teir. 5 Seconds of Summer's "Youngblood" moves up two spots to number twelve as it continues to climb up the radio airplay charts. Previous number one "Sicko Mode" reverses course for the first time as it hikes up on spot to number fifteen, while previous number one "Nonstop" likewise continues to climb back up the charts as it moves up two spots. "Eastside", the debut single by benny blanco featuring Halsey and Khalid, moves up another spot to a new number nineteen peak, directly ahead of "Psycho". "Psycho" which is in twenty-ninth week on the chart, defied early projections that the song would fall off the chart due to new recurrency rules. Imagine Dragon's new single "Natural", the official single for college footbal, moves up two spots in its sixth week. After debuting last week at number nine, "Lucky You" falls this week fourteen spots to number twenty-three, directly ahead of Marshmello and Bastille's "Happier", up one spot in its third week. "Africa", by Weezer likewise struts up two weeks to a new peak of number twenty-five as its alternative airplay and pop radio continue to gain. Ella Mai's new single "Trip" debuts at number twenty-seven off its Youtube streaming numbers, previous single "Boo'd Up" ranks at number thirteen this week after hitting number four. "I Like Me Better" by Lauv continues its lengthy stay on the chart as it moves up one spot in its eighteenth week on the chart. "I Like Me Better" hit the bottom of the chart two weeks ago and looked to depart the chart after hitting number seventeen; however, it has maintained its stay on the radio airplay. Finally, "I'm a Mess", the second single from Bebe Rexha, debuts at number twenty-nine. Looking forward to next week, "Lucid Dreams" and "Better Now" look to compete for the top spot and "Psycho" appears to be falling off the chart as songs below it are gaining at a faster rate. Furthermore, "Wake Up In The Sky" by Gucci Mane, Bruno Mars, and Kodak Black looks to debut on the chart in the lows teens/high twenties.
